''Why Valerie?'' John asked. ''My aunt wants us to visit. Calm down.'' Valerie replied. ''I can't.'' John answered. ''Can you handle 1 day?'' Valerie said. John nodded and with anger he ran into the woods. Valerie felt bad and wanted to stay, too. But her mom already bought the tickets. She walked dreadfully into her house. Valerie dashed to her room ignoring her mother's voice. She cried and cried. Valerie decided to go stand up and speak up. She grabbed her coat and went into the woods. ''John! John!'' Valerie yelled. No answer. She ran to the cliff and to her surprise John was about to risk his life and jump. ''Don't commit suicide. Please!'' Valerie yelled pushing him away from the edge. ''I can handle it.'' John said. ''You sure?'' Valerie asked. ''Sure Val.'' John said hugging her. ''Thank you.'' Val replied. The day went by quickly. But when Val came back the cops and a broken window was the only thing Valerie locked her eyes on.
