If you've been a long term follower of all my projects, you'll remember something called "aurorachat". It was a pretty cool sleek SmartFox powered chat room. You could make your own chat box and visit it on the site.

You could also get extras with your credits, but now I have created a different approach to Aurora Chat 2 called Auren.

Auren is a JavaScript chat client that uses socket.io to share messages. It isn't a service that involves flash UI and other flash benefits, it uses purely Javascript and has a massive command base.

Here's usage of the login, having being a guest I must login via command line which stores my data in a cookie.


It's remembered my details and logged me into my account and setup my privileges ready for me to chat!

Other features:
Modify room, background, message of the day, kick, ban, restrictions for guests, promotions and demotions, smilies and avatars and much more I put in there i cant think of just now.

It's very easy to embed your chat box on any page using simple javascript.


I first began this project June 2013 but I never intended a public release, but I've come back to it yesterday and I decided to turn this into a thing!

Sorry Damen! I didn't see this at first, thx for telling us! Also, I will use the whole HQ, but I like Oldcp as much as PI and the other games. It will remain DSGHQ because people play all the games! Don't worry, some people just don't say it!

Looks like a more sophisticated version of IRC in an OldCP edition.
In other words, looks quite awesome!
