Okay here is what I think



It's important to know that this whole situation is based off of opinions. The opinion of if you think it was okay for them to date or not. And I am going to be real honest with you, I used to be very good friends with Kara back when she was known as Potatoes-lover or something and I know she is not a "pedophile" or anything, however I agree with Damen's video and they way he reacted would have been the same way I reacted. If someone send me those messages I would try to help by giving my opinion and thoughts on how to handle the situation. And his opinion about how it is weird as kids to be 3 years apart but for adults its more common ( and how they are still naive and those weren't the intentions but that's just how it played out ) . So I started this situation thinking " That's so weird why would they date bla bla bla" but then as I thought about it and put it into perspective and heard most of the thoughts of others I think this was just a childish thing nothing more or less, and Kara did the right thing of ending it with swirlie. I can understand why people are upset that Damen's opinion influenced her to break up with Swirlie because " if they loved each other that's all that matters" but at the end of the day you can still love one and other without having that label as "dating". I don't know if I mentioned this already but I have seen people say "Damen forced Kara and Swirlie to break up" which I believe is completely untrue. Kara came to Damen looking for refuge and Damen gave his opinions and thoughts to try to help her, we need to understand that Damen was asked for his opinion and gave it weather people think it's right or not. Also if a screen shot of the messages were released I doubt it would say anything like " BREAK UP WITH SWIRLIE EVERYONE HATES YOU" or something like that because if it was then I would completely agree damen FORCED the break up. But in this case Damen gave his opinion after Kara had asked him for it and she listened.
But just has everyone else has stressed I totally agree with Damen should not have made this issue public

I have no comment about the Sled thing yet I'll have to look into it more I know one of my closer friends was in the opposing side but I also know Sled means no harm, so again I'll have to look into it further in order to make a conclusion of my opinion.

My Thoughts: As a member of Oldcp since 2014 I have watched MANY things change. Firstly I feel as if Damen has completely lost hope in this game, In 2014 he was extremely enthusiastic and GOM was actually taken seriously and what you did in GOM actually MATTERED ( I will touch on this further on in the paragraph ) . Secondly I feel like the people who still play oldpc such as myself play to try to earn ranks, which is extremely frustrating. A while back Damen used to be very consistent in giving people ranks when they are deserved but now its ALWAYS biased. For example Xen ( I think it was not sure ) came on for 20 minutes and as soon as he logged on after not playing for like 3 months he ( or she idk ) was offered a rank??? It doesnt add up sis. And I'm not saying the staff right now is bad they are actually some really really good people but I feel like its time for a change. ( NO HATE TO PABLO I LOVE HIM) But we keep getting pablo for mod time and time again when there are other people who are very active and have some sort of experience. Honestly I can't put my fingure on everything wrong with oldcp b/c there are SOOO many problems with it.

GOM GOM this year was completely and utterly rigged and honestly I cannot put into words how upset I am with Damen that he would do something like this. Before GOM started meaning right before stage one damen said "I bet Pablo will win" and omgosh WHO WON??? You guessed it PABLO!!!!! ( again no hate to pablo i love that kid ) It really upsets me that I took time out of my day to come online and work really hard trying to do this and that for gom when the winner was already decided before the competition even started. If Damen was already going to pick Pablo why the hell did he waste all of our time doing this compition and hype everyone up thinking that they could really be "the next mod".



Tbh oldcp is such a biased scam now and I feel like all these years of me playing has gone down the toilet


I'm actually really upset with Damen b/c I dont even know why he does some of the things he does now

My opinions; crimezone is getting crusty it's time for new ideas, maybe scrapping the idea of crimezone all together and brainstorming new ways to stay entertained on oldcp. We can create whatever we want to
GOM; this time around was ran kind of poorly (as Damen didn't truly have time for it and Cristal is new to running it which was understandable but something about it just wasn't fun) and the winner was predicted which was a huge let down to everyone else (no anger towards Pablo, I love him, I'm talking about how Damen already knew he'd probably win). I'm only saying this because I've heard it from other people.
Moderators need to make sure they have time for the game and if not they should step down and let someone else have a turn, they'd always be welcomed back if their activity gets better

Not only was the winner predicted but damen said it himself before round one saying and I QUOTE "I bet Pablo will win" which honestly makes me so upset because I tried so hard during GOM and tried to be online and everything while I had a lot going on. Basically if Damen already was going to pick Pablo anyway why waste all of our times and hype everyone up. It is honestly so sad.

I got bored after the first line tbh the whole weapon thing should be removed but EVERYONE should have a wood and only people in CZ / Rank should have weapons ( i think thats how it is already anyway)

I cannot even tell you how much I will miss you being Empress. I remember when you first got it once you came back you took the time to listen listen to my idea's and were very engaged and excited that you would be able to make the game a better place. Although it doesn't seem like you did much to some your efforts were tremendous and you will be missed by all.
