Now hold on a second, is this a forums command, or an oldcp command?

One early morning in the DSGHQ, Damen and his two fellow admins, BP28 and Hashir, were talking. BP was pushing Damen for new laws. Hashir was also pushing Damen for more bagels. Damen got infuriated and flipped the table, making the table shatter upon impact. "ILL KILL YOU" he screeched! Damen lunged at Hashir, but got out of the way just in time. BP pulled out his gun and fired off a few rounds, all missing except for one that went astray and hit Sadie. So Sheep ran over to Sadie and used to necromancer powers to bring back Sadie. At that Sadie and Sheep were infuriated and went to help Damen fight. Damen and Hash went at eachother at full force, each exchanging a massive amount of hits. Sadie ran up and jumped like a spider monkey on Hashir and punched him repeatedly. Hashir layed on the ground, bleeding and bruised. BP pulled out his gun and shot Sheep in the stomach 4 times, Sheep fell to the ground with a thud. Damen attempted to grab BPs gun but set off the gun which hit him in the chest. Damen fell as well but Sadie jumped up and karate kicked BP in the face which made his gun fall to the ground. She ran and picked up the gun, but Hashir was back and proceeded to throw Sadie aside. At that, Hashir loaded the gun and pointed it at Sadies head. But what Hashir saw next made his heart nearly fly out of his chest. It was Sheep, back up with no wounds.

Sheep: KAAAAAAAAA.... MEEEEEEEEE.... HAAAAAAA..... MEEEEEE...

and next to Sheep was Damen, brought back to life.

Damen: HADOUKEN BLAST!!!!!!!

Sheep: HAAAAAAAA!

The Hadouken and Kamehameha Wave headed right for BP and Hash. They were obliterated on contact.

Roberto: OH DANG! YOU DEFEATED MY BOTS

Damen: Wha-

It had turned out that Roberto made clones of BP and Hash to defeat Damen and claim the Empire.

Today I will be talking about something that pretty much everybody wants to achieve and have one day. It's a popular rank that users try to apply for at least once a day. It's a rank named and commonly known as Moderator. I'm going to talk about something that I hear and see around the community a lot. And those words are: "Moderator is EASY!" And as a past Moderator on Oldcp and the Forums let me tell you it's not easy. So I will be talking about this today so I hope you enjoy and be sure to leave a like below and you can leave your opinion to.





Is Moderator Easy?



NO it is not easy. I admit before I was a Mod it kind of looked easy. But after earning it and doing my job it is not easy. People it is not easy so you can stop saying it and complaining to the mods that "Oh you're job is easy stop complaining!" Okay to those users would you want to be asked questions 24/7, be SWAMPED with friend requests, and pretty much having to stay up till midnight maybe even LONGER to keep the site safe? Does that sound easy? No it isn't Mod is a job that is fun but people think it is easy because "apparently" People think sitting up on a shop and just talking is easy. No you have to work hard be experienced and be trusted and then users FRAME mods by saying "Oh all they do is sit on the Gift Shop and do nothing else!" Look that is just making a mods job harder. I was being DISSED on Skype one day! How does that make look easy and then being kicked off the staff. Does that seem easy to you? A mods job is to moderate and keep the sight safe and that's what mods do! They're job is NOT easy.




What Mods Do For Us.



People say there job is easy and all the do is sit on a Gift Shop or a Coffee Shop and not do there jobs. But those people are just rude and trying to frame them so then they can be demoted. Mods DESERVE respect they work there butts off trying to keep the site safe they're job is stressful and painful sometimes. There are people out there who will frame you and even if you do the SLIGHTEST mistake they will capture it so you can get demoted. People you should learn to actually RESPECT those people because they worked hard so they can actually keep US safe they work there tails off I even know Saber comes on at 6:00 AM-6:30 so she can start her day. Those people put forth time, effort, dedication, and heart into there job. They work hard for us to me they pretty much would spend a lifetime if they could they work hard for us that much and people need to show a little respect for them.

So I hope you learned that Mod isn't easy if you think mod is easy then try being a Administrator. Moderator is one of the hardest jobs here just ask the Mods. Mod is stressful, painful, and can be kind of hard. If you don't think so go ask me, past mods, or the mods right now. People need to learn that it is hard and is not everything. What is Game of Mods?
In each stage there are up to 7 different tasks which can be fun but also serious. A stage could take up to 2 hours to complete.

If I can't come on Stage 1 can I still play?
Yes you can play the game only if you have been in atleast 2 stages by the final.

Substitutions
If I cannot host one of the games for any reason our substitute will be:
Empress Chelsey or Emperor Helper Tennis or delayed stage.

Stage Winner Badges
The Team leader of a winning team will earn a Stage Winner badge for the Summer 2015 Game of Mods.

Judges
I invite all moderators and administrators to judge the game. I also invite her Royal Highness Chelsey the Empress, Emperor Helper Tennis and Lady Cheep of the Bank to join the judging system.

Location
The location will be the Business Office of OldCP. Get there by saying /office or /jr office (hacker way)

Rank Jobs


This post is about what are the jobs of different ranks and what they should be doing.

Rookie


Rookies are the default rank of the DSGHQ. When you join, you become a Rookie. It is a limitation rank, as well. You cannot comment on people's moods, as well as you cannot use the [ video ] tag or the [ img ] tag. Damen just added those limitations to the Rookie rank. After earning 40 positive reputation points you automatically get promoted to Member and then you can comment on moods, as well as use the [ video ] and [ img ] tags. Rookies are expected to be appropriate, and be nice to other users. Just because they have no reputation/posts/friends/advantages, they think they can be inappropriate, and if they get banned, they had nothing, no biggie they can make a new account. That isn't what a Rookie is expected to do. Rookies are expected to be kind, and respectful, as well as appropriate and calm.

Member

Members are the 2nd smallest rank of the DSGHQ (claiming you are not banned/suspended). The rank is received by rookies who have gotten 40 reputation points (positive). Members can comment on moods, they can use [ img ] tag, and use [ video ] tag. After showing extreme loyalty and respect, as well as extreme kindness, maturity, age, and responsibility, they are promoted to Master.

Master

Masters are the 3rd smallest rank of the DSGHQ (claiming you aren't banned/suspended). This rank is received by Members or Rookies that have shown extreme loyalty, respect, kindness, maturity, age, experience, and responsibility towards the DSGHQ. You also need 300 positive reputation, and 500 posts.

News Reporter

News Reporters are the 4th weakest/smallest rank of the DSGHQ claiming you have not been yet suspended or banned from the forum pages. This rank is received by any-ranked user that has been shown able to write amazing News Reports in a unique style, and a perfect layout. Some of those people include Maniac, Aine, and Orbay.

Wise

Wise isn't a weak/strong rank. It can't be rated. All they show is high-level degree freemasonry. Wise Ones are users who show that they can be very wise, and write a successful application as well as pass a Wise test. You can classify them weaker than a Rookie, and you can classify them stronger than an Administrator. You can never know with the Wise Ones. Some of these users include Jacobg627, Skywolf, Fable Pl, and CoolLloyd.


Well, that's all you guys need to know for today. You guys reading this will probably be able to succeed to just one of these ranks, not many of them. It is a nice accomplishment to have once been all of these ranks. Sorry for Penguin Watch users, Moderators, Administrators, I didn't include any of you guys. I have to go right now. New Forum Features!
If you have not already noticed there have been some quite a lot of new features added to this wonderful forum!

Level Badges Improvements
If you have not noticed already, some users have a star on their level badge. That's because they have been here for over 18 months. Here's what it looks like:

Another new forum feature! There's now a new category for Members and above called Debates.
In this category, you can talk about any debates, as long as it's appropriate.




New Rookie System
Recently, Damen has announced that there are some limits for Rookies. Here they are now:

-Rookies cannot use the [ img ] tag
-Rookies cannot use the [ video ] tag
-Rookies cannot comment on moods
-Rookies cannot view the Debates category
-Links are not generated around URLs posted by Rookies

There is also a new Automatic Member Promotion. To get member, you must gain 40 positive reputation points.

Minecraft Showdown Event
Recently, Hashir has announced that there will be a new fun event on the DSGHQ MC Server! Allow me to explain to you the rules:

-Protect the beacon of your team/try to attack the other team's beacon.
-You will be set on Survival Mode. You have 3 chances, after that you will be stuck in a room of bedrock and will be considered out.
-Make a wall to protect the beacon, you can have as many walls as long as it doesn't go in water.
-This is the only time you're allowed to break the other teams walls. However, again you're in survival so if you have a good wall you'll be alright.
-You can kill people if you just want to fight.
-When a beacon is taken out you automatically lose.
-You cannot destroy the cool little Shrek/TMNT figures.
