Something very similar happened to me. I was playing the full version of Five Nights At Freddy's 2 on m iPhone (Even Scott said that the phone version is much harder than the PC version because when an animal enters the room on the phone version, you can quickly touch the mask button with your thumb. Since you have 2 thumbs, you open and close the camera with the right thumb, and if an animal enters the room, you can quickly push the mask button with you left thumb. So on the phone, it is easier to put on the mask when an animal enters. That's why Scott made the phone/tablet version harder than the PC version. On PC, there is only one mouse).
I was on Night 6. It was 5 AM. I was on 5 AM for quite a while, so I thought I would win. Then my battery ran out, so I couldn't shine light at the hallway. I raised the camera to wind up the music box. Then suddenly, Foxy jumped on me. Just as he opened his mouth, the 6 AM screen cut it off. I was so happy. You don't know how much I tried to pass night 6. I did this in a school bus. I screamed so loudly, even the driver got scared.

Introduction




Today I saw someone showing someone around and I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be great if someone just showed me around when I first joined?" And then it hit me! We should have "buddies" for the newer users.




What they will do



The "buddies" of the newer user will show them around OldCP and invite them into their friend group, this way the person will:

1. Learn the rules

2. Be more comfortable with the game

3. Make friends

4. Have a shorter "asking questions" stage

5. Be more likely to play the game for a while





How it works




People will volunteer to be buddies to the newer user, and when the new user comes on for the first week, there will be a box asking, "Would you like a buddy?" At the top right corner of the screen. If you click yes, It will choose a user who has volunteered to be a buddy, that is online. The person who has volunteered will automatically be sent to the newer user. There they will teach the user all of the essentials of the game, such as the rules, the commands, ect. They will also introduce them to their friends, so the newer user can still ask questions if the other user is online. If none of the buddies friends are online they will have to resort to other resources.




Conclusion




Right now, when I look back to when I was a newer user, I think, "Why did I do that?" Because, lets face it, most of us had a stage where we would well, find kind of stupid at the moment. Because we would have never done that now. And most of us will describe what we did as, "noobish." Hopefully with system people won't think what we think about us when we first joined the game as we do right now.
