Yes, this community does have some toxic players, but do you really expect every community to be perfect? There are millions of trolls in many communities, and some have ended up in this one. Also, it isn’t very difficult to make friends on this game, talk to those online for a while, and you’ve made a friend. If you think this community is toxic, try playing GTA V or any other very popular game.
