Percy Jackson,a twelve years old, the outsider,has ADHD and dyslexia, and has been expelled from almost every school he has ever attended to, no friends, beside Grover Underwood, witch we learn is a Satyr half human from the waist up, and from the waist down, a goat. After hallucinating about "Mrs.Dodds" he learns that he is a half-blood, half human and half God. He is taken to Camp Half-Blood, a camp for kids just like him that is safe from monsters that attack half-bloods. Percy meets friends Annabeth Chase, and Luke Castellan.

At camp, Percy adapts more information about himself, his dad is Poseidon, God of the Sea,who is brothers with, Zeus, ruler of all Gods and Hades, God of the underworld. At the point when Zeus' master bolt (the thing that permits him to make lightning at whatever point he needs) is stolen, Poseidon is accused of the robbery. Zeus tells Poseidon that the master bolt must be come back to Mount Olympus by the summer solstice, or else he will announce war on Poseidon. Poseidon is angered that his sibling Zeus would even blame him and his son for such a thing. Percy, Annabeth and Grover go on a quest to look for the bolt.

Personal opinion My opinion on the book- BEST BOOK EVER. I personally don't like books that are just like "I fight monsters and that's all I do." It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love the relationship between Percy, Grover and . Percy and Grover are best friends that will do anything for each other. Annabeth and Percy will also do anything for each other, but still have a slight hate for each other, at least in this book. 5/5 stars.
