Hi you guys!


Right now, I would like to address a topic that has become a big problem: feeling left out to the point where having invisibility is seemingly possible. It saddens me too see that. I've experienced that myself. It sure isn't a good feeling. I still experience that to the day, but I have about 10 real life friends, and I have you guys, and I feel like that's all I need, therefore it isn't as bad for me. This discussion will contain informative tips about what you can do when feeling this way.

Being new to an area.

It can be rather saddening when you move somewhere else, due to the fact that you had to leave your friends. Or maybe you were very fond of your last cool. Perhaps you lived with one family member and you love them to death, but the problem is that you never get to see another family member that lives with far away, and you went to go stay with that person, and are happy to be with them, but miss the last family member you were with at the same time. Happy-upset situation there. In addition to whatever the situation is or maybe it's all of the things I mentioned and maybe more, you haven't made any friends yet. Yeah, I know how that feels. It's a very difficult moment. However, you must remember that you are only just starting off in the new place. Look at the brighter side of this situation. Of every situation. There's a possibility that soon after you get used to it, you will love being there. And if you don't love it, don't just let yourself not like it and be all upset that you're there. Attempt to make yourself enjoy it. Meet new friends. Host fun parties or something like that. Do a bunch of fun activities that make you completely forget about the old area. If people haven't yet approached you to be your friend, don't just let yourself not have friends, same kind of thing, attempt to make yourself have friends. If people don't come up to you, go up to them. The worst they can say is "no", and if that happens, it's cool. Their are plenty of other people that surely would love to be your friend. The only problem is you might not know exactly how. You might be nervous. It really isn't as hard as it seems. Not everyone in this world is rude. Who knows, they could be the kindest person you've ever met in your entire life, and they might be interested in the same kind of things you like. Become used to it, so the next time you want to make more friends, you're not afraid.

Firstly, before you assume you're being ignored, look at the possibilities. Maybe you're trying to talk to one of the few people on Snaildom, but they have another tap open, and are playing OldCP at the same time. Maybe they're on brb or afk. Maybe too many people are talking to them at one time and they can't keep up with what everyone is saying too them. If they're a moderator or knight or something, perhaps they're handling something. Having those kind of ranks i'm sure can make you busy sometimes. More than half of the time, it's not ignoring, they just have something that they're doing which makes them unable to communicate with you at the moment. If that happens, my suggestion is to send them a PM on here, and ask them why they aren't talking to you, and whenever they see it, let them clear things up. If you see that they've read it but you receive no reply, take note of that. If they don't have an account here and they just play another game, wait until you see them speaking, and go up to them, and ask them why they don't talk to you when you talk to them. If they don't answer you and clearly see you speaking, and continue to talk to other friends, yeah you actually are being ignored. You don't need someone like them so I say that you shouldn't waste your time on them. If they are just going to be friends with other people, and not talk to you for whatever reason, forget them. Also, whatever you do, do NOT report. There's no need, as a moderator cannot do anything about stuff like that. Back to what you should do. Remember, there are plenty of us. The most i've seen on the forums at a time were more than fifty, and there have been more than a hundred penguins on OldCP. I know for a fact that you can find people that actually will communicate with you and willingly be your friend. I've seen plenty of players that will be friends with anyone and everyone including you and will answer when talked to. I'm one of them. Overall, a majority of us are friendly and are glad to be your new friend. Sure, there will be some who won't be friends with you, and if they bully you, then you should report and remember to have a screenshot or witnesses. Otherwise, staff members won't know for sure if it actually happened, and even if it really did, moderators still need proof of some kind. But anyways, if anyone ignores you, ignore them back. Talk to those who will speak to you and appreciate you wanting to be friends with him/her.
