Sadly OldCP lost all penguins again (not my fault this time). The hosts of oldcp suspended the servers as a glitch which sadly corrupted the database. Only 8 accounts were recovered... So we had to start over again.

Okay, so, ranks. As I discussed in a different post, we want them. A lot of people want them. So my suggestion here today is about training for ranks. I have several ideas for how the training works and what it is exactly. I also have some other rank involved ideas that will be listed.


Other Ideas that involve the main suggestion,

1. training swords- swords given to users in training to be a knight or a warrior. they do no damage to other people, expect special dummies/bots (if possible) designed for being killed. They can only pull out their sword when a staff member say a command like /givesword (username) or /practicesword (username).

2. Training powers. Moderators/admins in training will be given a set of powers that mods/admins have but will only work on dummies.bots, It would not include IP ban.


Prototype 1


1. A staff member recommends a user for a rank. The staff member cannot recommend a higher rank than one they already have. If a user gets a certain amount of recommendations, or the recommendator has a valid, solid-proof recommendation, the user will be accepted for training.

2. A staff member will spend every certain amount of days per week mentoring the users. For knights, they will have training swords and false/practice drills. Once a staff has a choice of who is fit for the rank, the staff member will consult with the empire's other staff.


Prototype 2

1. Each type of staff member will have to train people 1 a week. All staff members will rotate. example: 1 day Moderator1 will train people, the next day/week/etc Moderator2 will train people, and so forth.

2. Follow step 2 for first prototype.

Hey, buddy. Its very good you like to help people and enjoy that.
But I would recommend getting Member or Master first. And maybe a bit more detail. Experience etc.
