Application:

My name is Tasha and I'm currently fifteen years old. I will be turning sixteen on May 1st.I joined OldCp in April of 2013. I am interested in this position having obtained leadership and perseverance skills. While participating in several activities, such as moderator competitions, I have realized what it takes to become one. My active participation has provided me with valuable skills, which is greatly needed in the community.

As a member of the DSHQ, I continue to seek for new opportunities that are available. My primary role is to help users stay safe, while having the capability to be there for them when needed. I am well experienced because of my days of being a chat moderator. Being a chat moderator has challenged me to be involved with the community. These many skills have inspired me to learn more about leadership roles. Obtaining this position will allow me to further learn and develop numerous skills. I am available to moderate after school and occasionally on the weekends. My time difference is a tad bit off compared to many of the users, but i am well aware that a lot of the action happens at night. Thank you for your time.

What Will I Do As a Moderator?

Being a moderator is nowhere near as easy as you think it is. Many people are able to be influenced to make wrong decisions, based on their "friends'" choices. As a moderator, I will create a nice environment for users. When there is a problem that must be resolved, I won't put anyone on the spot. I will try my best to stay focused, prepared, encouraging, and most importantly.. FUN. As a moderator, I will be committed to my job. I will not throw away my rank without consulting Damen first. I will respect every administrator and moderator's decisions.

Rules:

The rules are not hard to follow. Here are several in-game rules that I have learned.

- Don't swear, cuss, or curse.

- Listen to the staff members.

- Respect all of the staff member(s)' actions.

- Don't flame or spam.

- Have fun.

- Don't let other people bother you. Simply report/ignore them!

- NO bullying.

- Do not beg the staff members for higher ranks as this makes it harder for staff to do their job.

- Never threaten to hack anyone. You will be banned from that point onward.

What Does It Take to Be a Moderator?:

- A moderator should interact with users.

- A moderator should be active.

- A moderator should be a trusted, well-rounded user.

- A moderator should be a team player.

- A moderator should be fair-minded.

- A moderator should have a good sense of judgement.

About Myself:

It's always great to know who exactly the person applying is. My life consists of reading(I lied), drawing, Youtube, and watching TV shows, such as Dance Moms, The Fosters, The Voice, etc. The main two games i play are Toontown Rewritten and Oldcp. The main reason why I decided to play virtual games was to interact with people around the world. I've met so many great friends and I hope to make more in the future.
