The icon is there because they connected their OldCP account to Forums. Go to your profile and click "Club Penguin: Manage Account" then type in your OldCP username and password then there will be an icon!

Where do you manage your account? I need some screenshots.
 (In Edit Profile)
Type in OldCP Username and Pass.

I say, yes. They probably are slaves because they make the toys for Santa to deliver. Since Santa has to move around to put presents under trees, I think he should do atleast some of the work.
