Glimmer's Detective Application


Aloha! . Today, I will be applying for Detective. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read through my application. . This is something that I have been wanting to apply for, and I decided to just go for it, since crimezone is finally back and Hashir is looking for new detectives. I hope you consider me the newest Detective of the DSGHQ.

OldCP Username: My username on OldCP is Glimmerglam.

Why I want this rank:
The reason I want this rank is because I enjoy mysteries and crime solving. For a while, I was obsessed with this show called Whodunnit, which is a murder mystery show, and that is when I realized I enjoyed mysteries and crime solving. Also, I don't know about you, but I enjoy all the roleplay in OldCP. It makes the game more fun and unique. Being a detective would make it even more fun, being able to solve the crimes of the iceghosts, blackhawks, and bandits. I would love to help out the community in figuring out what had happened. Whenever there is something roleplay-ish happening around the island, I like to take time to wander around and look for clues or any changes in the rooms.

Maturity:
I wouldn't say I'm the most mature person in the world. I can be pretty weird and crazy sometimes, but hey. There is always a time for immaturity. I am always mature in the correct situations. Plus, I never start any drama or freak out over things. So, I'm pretty sure that I have a good amount of maturity. Not too mature, but also not too immature.

Am I trusted?
Yes, I believe I am trusted. On OldCP, I have met so many amazing friends who I know and trust, who also trust me. I have been on the DSGHQ long enough for many to trust me. I believe I have gained the trust of many. I've been here since the end of July, and joined the forum on August 8th, 2014. So, I've almost been here for a full year. I have also been a Master before. (That didn't last long, because the person who made me a Master didn't get permission), but if I wasn't trusted, I would have never gotten that rank in the first place.

What I will do as detective
As a detective, I will fulfill my duties in solving crimes. I will try my best to come up with educated theories, and will be on the lookout for clues. As I said before, I really enjoy mysteries and trying to solve them, so I think I would do my job well, and have alot of fun doing it.

Grammar
I would say I have very good grammar. I only usually mess up my grammar because of auto correct or because I'm typing too fast that I make a mistake.

Am I active?
Yes, I am very active. I try my best to get onto OldCP every day for as long as I can. Even if I am on the road, I have an app called Puffin that allows me to go onto OldCP on my phone. So, yeah. I am an active user.

Will I abuse any kind of power?
If I am ever actually given a sword or a gun, of course I wouldn't abuse. I would use the weapon only when necessary. Plus, abusing my power would be such a stupid thing to do. All that would get you is banned and known as a traitor. I love this community and I would never, ever, commit treason.

Why do you want to be a Detective?

Last year in 2014, I started watching a show called Law and Order: SVU (Special Victims Unit) the show really influenced me, from watching the show I wanted to be a Detective because they show that with the right gear and the right focus you can achieve a lot. From watching the show I took note on what they do and how they do it. Another reason why I want to be a Detective because it will be an experience, I can use this and see if I really want to be a detective when I get older. Also when I was little me and my sister (sugar) would watch Scooby Doo movies and we would always run around the house and pretend we were Detectives. Oh those were the good times . Since then Detective was a cool job for me.









What are you Contributions to the job?
Well, I will make sure to take my job seriously and make sure to be focus with all cases because if you don't, there can be serious damage if any evidence is wrong.
I will make sure to share my evidence, reports, and things I found in cases, to my fellow detectives and The Detective Inspector and the Detective Sargent and to Damen of course.
I am also a very helpful person so if a Detective is frustrated with a case, I can help out and make them feel better and cheer them up .

What do you think is a Detectives job and why?
Well, so many good questions lol, ok well I think its not only about solving cases and fighting bad guys(lol) but its also mostly keeping users safe, putting your account in risk for others. The reason why I say this because when something bad happens say an evil guy comes and targets us (hopefully not) Detectives, Knights, Agents, they would come in and make sure everyone is safe, then they will deal with the situation, I know people think detective seems pretty easy but if you really think about it, its difficult, and it takes about the right people and the right skills and the right understanding for the job.



Can you be trusted?
OF COURSE I CAN BE TRUSTED, I don't know much about Oldcp history and I came in September 2014(I think) I have not broke a rule since and I always try my best with these kind of things, so OF COURSE YOU CAN TRUST MEH! News Reporter Application

Hello everyone! My name is Lemonade5, I am currently 12 years old, and my timezone is PST. I joined the DSGHQ forums on October 4th, 2014 though I joined OldCp around late September. And I am interested in becoming a DSGHQ News Reporter.

Experience

I have earned the ranks within the DSGHQ such as Forums Master, Xat Moderator, Banker, and Radio Show Helper. Though I've been in this community for a few months and I've gotten to know it well.

DSGHQ History

I don't have much DSGHQ history, besides joining in October and getting to know the community while earning jobs/ranks. I have been here for events, such as Game of Mods, Warlord comps, and crimezone. Adding a bit on to that I formally did news reports, but I stopped for a while due to school etc.

Special Qualifications

A few special qualifications include

- Basic website designing, editing, and coding
- Writing stories, scripts, etc
- Creating movies, fliming

Why I Would Like News Reporter

A bit to add on to my application is that I am interested in becoming a News Reporter because I would like to have the responsibility as a reporter of keeping the community updated each week and getting the chance to write on my free time more frequently. Hey, I'm Mikey. You know me as the guy that writes stories. Now why should I be a royal writer? What will that do to help anyone or anything? Well I divided this into sections of How/Why this would be the right job for me and how this could help others.


What is a Royal Writer?


The Royal Writer will be the creative person of the job. He/she can be used as a messenger or teach moral lessons to other people. As being used as a messenger, the Royal Writer must send messages to Damen or other staff when something is going wrong or someone just sent him something important.
As the Moral Lesson teacher, He/she must come up with a creative story and have a moral to teach people how to live life. How to go out there and be successful. He can also write books for people to read and enjoy.


How will it Help?

Like I said, the Royal Writer teaches you about how to live life. Because when you go out there in the world, it is challenging. Also the royal writer is like a camera. He watches if anything wrong is gonna happen and report to staff by witness. And bring that man/woman to justice!


Why would you be good for the Job?


Well I always love to write. I have writing stories since 2005 and I'm pretty good at them. And while have a funny side, I do understand the game of life. I've been trying so hard to get into people's brains that they are doing something not so wise. Get it into them that there is a moral behind what my stories tell. I like to write stories for fun. My Fanfics are ment for fun. But they teach people no matter how much you are afraid to face someone you love. You should chase after and get your goal and achieve it. Follow your dreams. If you give this job to me. People will be determined to do things they wanna do by working hard. I can sense when people or i'm doing something wrong. Which is why I feel fit for this job.

Introduction:
Hi I'm Chopper! I haven't made an application for this ever and I am intrested in the job to somewhat calm down the uproar that has been happening. Sure there are many knights already but I seen some bullying and things spread out and further from the town.

Why I want to be a knight?
I want to be a knight to calm down the uproar and ensure safety from bullying and make it a more peaceful place. I feel that I learnt my lesson and will not betray or anything.

Why I should be a knight?
I should be a knight because I saw people fight and train people. I paid attention to the actual techniques and how they fight. If I gained trust with firearm and sword I would use it only for good and treat it with good care. I would also make the first move and ask to be trained. I am also a great observer as I used to be a detective and I would know if any gangs attack. I am a great companion for knights and I believe in the motto "All for one and one for all".

I think I could be trusted as a knight and be believed in.
