hey guys. today i wanted to take attention to something that's just kinda been bothering me over the time i've been here. so, here's the thing. a lot of times, a new user will make an irrelevant/short/confusing/kinda random post, and other, more experienced users will dislike it. it doesn't happen 24/7 but it happens. and that's not okay. cut them some slack. they're new. they may not have read the rules, and that's not their fault. we were all new users at some point, and i know that we all didnt make perfect posts back then. we had bad grammar, didnt really get how it worked, and what the social rules were. when you see a new user (or what you think is a new user) post, don't criticize them or dislike them for having a "weird/badly formed/random/etc" post. instead, offer them help. link them to the rules and different areas. offer assistance. be helpful! so, next time, remember that you were like them at one point. and i know this has bad capitalization, but let that go. i dont want to worry about writing properly capitalized posts. peace
