Hello! Since I am a Master, our job is to help and be role models to the ranks that are under us. Such as member and rookie. Today, I've decided that it's time for me to do that. Since I was a News Reporter twice in the past, many people came to me and asked me how they can earn it as well. Hope this helps!


You want to earn News Reporter? You came to the right place!

Let me explain first of all what a News Reporter is. A News Reporter is someone that writes the news. He/She scoops out stories and writes everything in well written paragraphs with detail and precision.

How to earn it :


1. Prove yourself

Proving yourself can't be too difficult. If you have a good amount of posts (I would say about 400) with about 200-300 rep, you should be good to make an application. A good way to prove yourself is to make posts with good grammar, nicely written paragraphs and you write your information with loads of details. That's what a News Reporter needs.

2. Start your own little show to prove that your willing to be one

Usually before you earn official News Reporter, people tend to make little News shows on Forums to show their potential. This idea is quite good because people can see that you are well fitted to be one.

3. Creativity and Fun

Being a News Reporter is a job. But have fun with it! If you decide to make your own style on your reports and show that you're creative, that's fantastic! People love that! It's appealing to the audience and it's great to look at.

4. Get a mentor

To help you out, people often get current or past News Reporter to help them out on getting that rank. It's a great way to learn new things and it can help you improve your skills.

This wasn't poorly made at all. Being new has nothing to do with the quality of ones post. Just because one person said that to you doesn't give you the right to put someone else down for it.

Today in OldCP we have a wedding! We are celebrating the love of HabS and Poolpie. Congrats! Their marriage is at /jr sunset! I was happy to attend along with everyone else!
