Well, I don't know about BEST. The lag was terrible. But, I sure had a great time being priest! It was an honor, and I really enjoyed it. Thank you!

I see. I thought of a really cool question while reading this.

Which of the following do you think most people will regret more when they have reached the end of their days?
a. Doing things they should not have done.
b. Not having had more courage to pursue their dreams.

Everyone makes mistakes, and this poem really helped prove that point. Thank you.

Don't forget, this Pi Day is extra special. 3rd month, 14th day, 15th year in the century.
So, instead of 3/14, it's 3/14/15. That only happens once a century.

Awesome! Here are some of my favorites:

Beautiful things don't ask for attention
Life is just like a chess game, you make decisions, Your decisions will make you something in the future
I may be alone, but I know where I am
"Sorry" is just a word, I want ATTITUDE

Nope. People have the freedom of speech and expression. With a uniform, you get some freedoms taken away from you. I don't know about you, but I prefer to make my own decisions rather than following the public opinion. That's just my opinion. If you agree, AWESOME, but if you don't it's fine.

I can agree it isn't nice. Cyberbullying is wrong, cruel, and just mean. BUT, I cannot blame any of them. Here's why
1) I have no idea what is going on in their real life. They may be going through tough times.
2) I don't know if they mean it.

I'm not trying to excuse cyberbullies, just saying cyberbullies may not be trying to hurt you on purpose.

Posted in 2 Years on DSGHQ • 5th March 2015, 07:22 PM

Greetings

Well, if you read the title, you know I've been here for two years now! It's been an honor to be with all of you. In this post I will tell my main accomplishments on the DSGHQ, and thank the users who helped me get to where I am today. I'm speechless and drowned by happiness, so excuse me if I make a grammar mistake or two.

My accomplishments

100 rep (Damen)

I also have my 200, 400, 500, and 600 rep screenshots here :D

I was promoted to Credit Holder by Damen back in July 2013.
I was promoted to Most Wise AROUND April 2014.
I was promoted to Lord around January 2015.
I was promoted to chatmod in February 2015.

That's about all of my achievements. I couldn't have done any of them without you?

Thank You DSGHQ

Supermikey97: Well, you're not on much. But if you are, thank you SO much. I would never have even found DSGHQ without you.

Little, Freddy, Harrypot9, My Pet Tux, and everyone from snailschat: You were my great friends. Even though 3/4 of you are gone now, my memories of you will live on forever in my heart. You made me stick with DSGHQ, and were my first virtual friends. I cannot express how thankful I am for you in words.

Wise ones: Well, you, my fellow council members, have always been there. I have seen you all succeed and fail, and helped you all. You have helped me even more. You have inspired me to help and work hard. You have inspired me to make wise posts here on the forums. Thank you all.

All the staff (includes former staff): You helped keep the community under control. You enforced the rules and taught me many things. I am very thankful for all you have done.

To everyone hoping to get a rank soon (wise, mod, knight, detective, news reporter, etc.) "Either I will find a way, or I will make one." -Philip Sidney

To you, the reader: Thank you for reading my posts. Thank you for giving feedback. We all need people who will give us feedback. That's how we improve. You have helped me improve SO much. Thank you.

Well, that's about it. I'm speechless right now, so I can't really make this longer. I hope you enjoyed, and please leave a comment if you did. Thank you for reading.

Posted in Le Book of Wisdom • 1st March 2015, 01:05 PM

In the world wisdom was the thing that inspired many people. Wisdom was always a powerful thing, until the Book o' Wisdom was released. It brought wisdom to a whole new level of power and inspiration.
Prologue

When the world was made, people were blessed by something that they couldn't name. It was wisdom.
"If you read every book on world, you will read every part of world." That was some words Mico had said, which trace back to 300 oldcp years ago. That was one of the first signs of wisdom, and that also shows us when the DSGHQ Royal Wise Counsel started. It was said earlier versions of this very book have been seriously injured by the power of this wisdom.
When the old wise counsellors heard Grand Most Wise Jacobg627 with his wisdom, the old men immediately cut their beards off and began to listen to the Wisdom of Jacobg in their muttering awe.
Words are powerful. Wisdom is among the most powerful words. Some say words are even more dangerous than weapons. Now, if you dare, continue.
Chapter One

Some of the world's most successful people are wise. But not all people use their wisdom for good. If you wish to use your wisdom for bad, you may close this book right now. With wisdom comes power. With power comes responsibility. Wisdom is a weapon, but if you use it for evil you will be disgraced.
"I fear not the man who has done ten thousand things once, I fear the man who has done one thing ten thousand times." a wise man named Bruce Lee once said. Bruce Lee is an amazing human who could control wisdom, but some other people didn't want him to control wisdom, so they ordered mafia to kill him. When you practice something, you will get better at it. This is usually true, but with wisdom it works differently. One cannot simply "practice" wisdom, instead he must learn it. But wisdom cannot be taught. And again, one is not simply wise. Wisdom comes in many different forms.
"I'm not sad because they stole my ideas, I'm sad because they dont have their own ideas" - Nikola Tesla. He was an extraordinary and amazing inventor. He knew 12 different languages. That doesn't come easy. You need to work hard, and try hard.
"Life is like a coin, you can spend it any way you want, but you can only spend it once!" ChocoCupcake says. You see, everyone had wisdom. Everyone can potentially be wise. They just need to ask themselves how bad they want it. If they want it badly, and they have the dedication to achieve their goal, they will become wise. You just have to believe, only then will you be able to achieve.
Chapter Two

"The Past is to be remembered. The Future is to look forward to. And the Present is to be cherished and enjoyed." -May23. The more you think about it, being happy is one way of being wise. Living in the present is a gift. Gifts are meant to be enjoyed, and life is similar to that. But life is hard. Life gives you scars that never fade. But those scars, they make you who you are. Those scars are never to be forgotten, for you should always remember the hard moments in life. The difference between the possible and impossible is in one's determination. Nothing is impossible, the word itself says "I'm possible!"
Do you wish to be wise? Well, let me tell you something. To be wise, you must first be a fool. To be good at something, you must first be bad at it. To be good at something, you must be dedicated. You must be committed. You must first feel pain. "Pain makes you stronger, Heartbreak makes you wiser." But do you know what giving up does? It makes you feel the pain and sadness forever. If you give up, you will never be as happy as you could have been. That is the dividing line between success and failure. Most will fail because they simply cannot get up after they fall down. Some will fail because they are afraid of falling down. I have a few more user quotes to end chapter two:
"Failure lies in not falling down but not getting up" -ixk4osxi
"Life is a rose. They have thorns, which are painful, but they are beautiful and bring joy. Each petal is unique, just like you." -Allie
"Those who are respectful will be happy."
"Look back at all the great you've done, what you have achieved, things that make you feel great! Look at the days where you have achieved a goal, and focus on the good things." -Allie
"The Lord gives Wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." -ixk4osxi
"When you're successful, you never lose. You either win or learn. Trust me, most successful people have done a LOT of learning." -Jacobg627
"Seek God's will in all you do, and He will show you the path to take" -ixk4osxi
"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."
" Losing is tryable, winning is not perfect. Be yourself and stay strong" jilly
" Everyday above ground is a great day" -jilly
" One day you will prosper, but you must see the light first" -Mckinlee
" Follow the sun to complete your journey of your life" -jilly
"Pain is temporary. It can last a minute, an hour, or even a year. However, if you QUIT.. or if you GIVE UP the pain will last forever." -Jacobg627
"Nothing is perfect except your words. Oh, I how I think about them all day long. They make me wiser than my enemies, because they are my constant guide. They make me even wiser than the aged" -ixk4osxi
"Yet love strengthens the spirit, and washing the feet is good for the soul, renewing the whole of the body" -ixk4osxi
"God created us for the care and love Is not real that theres closets monster, bed monsters , the creepy mythical that you see may leave you alone " -BlackWolfDogXD
"Yet love strengthens the spirit, and washing the feet is good for the soul, renewing the whole of the body"-ixk4osxi
"Strength = fear, power, and desperation" -Sampopxxx101
"When life gives you lemons, squeeze them back into life's eyes." -Rasberry (Don't take it seriously)
"When life gives you lemons, you either use them or you throw them away." -Sampopxxx101, with a slight edit on Rasberry's previous quote.
"STAY GOLD" ~Mckinlee
Chapter Three

Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers. It may not be difficult to store up in the mind a vast quantity of facts within a comparatively short time, but the ability to form judgments requires the severe discipline of hard work and the tempering heat of experience and maturity. The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
No matter how old or young you are, wisdom never changes. But nothing lasts forever. One day wisdom will be a lost art, or just something people dream of. If nobody believes they are wise, the world won't be wise. That's why you must believe, and do your job with pride and passion. Wisdom comes within hearts, never brains because heart is where passion and glory comes from. Try. Shoot for the moon, and even if you miss you'll land among the stars. Nothing is perfect but you can be the best you want to be so try hard and maybe you'll achieve it.
Wisdom will always exist, but in the end no one will know how to control it.

Posted in Let's Talk About: Negativity • 22nd February 2015, 04:35 PM

Wow!
Quote:
Many people come online and say discourteous messages anonymously. They send negative things to people and it hurts their feelings. You should never say anything negative towards anyone, even if they're cruel and mean themselves. They could have a lot going on in life, and you could just make it worse. Many people take out their feelings on others which makes the other person feel pessimistic. Do not waste your time saying negative things to others. Even in real life people say cruel things. Instead of being mean, be positive instead. Compliment someone, ask how their day was, etc. Be viewed as a nice and positive person instead of a rude and pessimistic one.
That one really got me. This was an amazing post, so +1 from me. Here's a quote I heard on TV that seems to relate to the topic. It really stood out to me:

"We focus so much on our differences, and that is creating, I think, a lot of chaos and negativity and bullying in the world. And I think if everybody focused on what we all have in common - which is - we all want to be happy."
-Ellen DeGeneres

Posted in Thank You, Damen • 21st February 2015, 04:38 PM

I'm here today to do something AWESOME. Thank the user that.. if he hadn't created everything he did we would not be here. Damen, I've collected positive words from users in this community.
Boogie2988 inspired me to do this in his latest video. If you have not seen the video, I'll put it right here:

OoBubblesoO Thank you so much, Damen, for creating this lovely community. Thank you for your time, hard work, and dedication. It's greatly appreciated. Again, thank you deeply.

Freddy I wanna thank Damen for being so honorable to the users. He works his butt off making games. He pays money on oldcp to let us play. It's very honorable of him. I wanna thank him for making the DSGHQ. Without DSGHQ, I wouldn't meet the people I know. It is very unique of him to make this kind of stuff. I wanna thank him for making my childhood great. And the last thing I want to thank him for... being my friend.

Kricken Hi everyone :) and thanks Damen :3 The starks are better than the lannisters btw. ok bye x3

Hashir Thanks Damen

Mckinlee I want to thank Damen for all he has done for me as a user, and also others. I know he has done so much for me ever since I came here. The main this Damen has done is given me a chance here. Chances with people are with trust and risks taken, and Damen took it. I did have experience with things, but not on his website, and he gave me a chance to talk with him and experience things on his site, such as Radio Dj. Damen is to me very nice, and is never rude. He is willing to help other in a time of need or confusion. Some of you know I am a Radio Dj here, and Damen was very very nice to allow me to go on with the experience from another site I had. He still had to teach me and he dedicated his time. Just like he does to this site and all the users in it. Damen has an amazing personality I leaned though his jokes online and on Skype. Damen is an amazing teach who we can all learn a lot from, thank you Damen for being an amazing roll model to this community online and in life. Damen, from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for what you have done for me as well as others. I now will not let you down. Thank you

Gamer I want to thank Damen for creating this community.

jilly Damen is a wonderful, strong man that has a brave positive heart. He always makes happy and always makes our community stronger. Damen is a one respectful man and also has great sense of humour. Our community became bigger and more active because of Damen's work. He made Crimezones, roleplays, snails, penguins etc...We all enjoyed those things. Damen always makes us happy and never makes us sad and upset. Damen is a wonderful man and will always be in our community heart. I think Damen is one of the best person we ever had. Thank you Damen for making these creative things you made us, your just amazing. Thank you Damen.

Jacobg627 What Damen does is very impressive. Creating games and managing a community are both hard tasks on their own. The fact that Damen does both of them amazes me. I really can't describe how this community has helped me.. so just look at my first post. I've improved on my grammar, spelling, and reading skills. I could go on for quite a while simply listing the benefits of DSGHQ.

Who would you like to thank and why? Reply below! If you enjoyed reading, please leave a like. It's greatly appreciated.

Posted in Jacobg's Philosophy of Life • 17th February 2015, 02:43 PM

Hello. Today I will be sharing some of my philosophies of life with you. They may be confusing, but I just want you to remember them. They may be useful someday.

One

I had a dream one time. I never protected it. Everyone told me I couldn't do it. They told me I would fail. They told me I would lose, no matter how hard I tried. But I went and tried to pursue my dream anyway. I was not afraid to fail.
I can't always win. Nobody can. But you can believe. You have the freedom to make your own decisions. It's your life. You can decide what you want to do with it. You can decide.
But no matter what you decide, you need to be prepared. You need to believe something else will happen. He who says he can and he who says he can are both usually right. But he who says he can usually becomes successful. He who says he can't will not be as happy as he who says he can.
I pursued that dream, and it may be the only reason I am talking to all of you today. I will not share it, for it is personal.

Two

I get called a loser A LOT. But when they tell me I'm a loser, I always have a prepared response.

I never lose, I either WIN or LEARN.

Three

Success. Everyone wants it, but only he who is dedicated can have it. I wanted success more than I wanted to be cool. So I studied like crazy in math. I ended up getting the best grades in math.
Most people got bad grades in that class. They asked me how I did it. They asked me why everyone else didn't do as good as me. "You can tell. Those who say they're bad in math, of course they're bad at math! They've never studied. They've never been dedicated to getting good grades." was my response. That pretty much applies to anything, not that I think about it.

Four

You have the power to do amazing things. Everyone who has made an amazing invention or contribution to help the world started out just like you.
If you're not making someone else's life better, then you're wasting time. That can be done by a simple thing like complimenting someone or a much greater action.

Five

Skill is only developed by hours and hours of practice.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading. This took me quite a while to create, and these are just 5 of my philosophies. If you liked, please leave a like and I might share more. Thank you for reading. I appreciate it.
