A lot of people say Disney ruined CP and it always always annoys me. Want to know why? Club Penguin was going to need to expand and needed an experience partner, which Disney became. Therefore Disney actually helped keep Club Penguin alive instead of ruining it. I know most of us playing DSGHQ today wouldn't be on this game if Club Penguin was never here after 2007 in the first place.

I have a confession to make and I'm going to make it long. So when I joined oldcp I was only 10... Last month it was my birthday. And you may be thinking, there's no confession in this? Well there is. I said I was 14 when I joined and when it was my bday I just changed it to 15. Then I started using Xbox live and saying my real age. So there you have it. I'm 11.

When me and a friend KingArthurII were just hanging out at the dock earlier, we sighted a man by the name of Arryn at the spawn.He had a black glow, and he wore a black robe, a skull mask, and I think a viking hat.I pointed him out, and we both didn't worry.We thought we were seeing wrong.He only came and went offline after about 3 seconds.Sadly, it was too fast for a screenshot.Then, we heard a thunder strike.Soon enough, the place was flooding with mods as KingArthur reported.As we explained the situation, The Bear came.The entire server went into /safety armor.This was a true crisis.The dock was then flooded with people, all in safety.But we should all calm down.Our trustworthy Admins, Mods, Knights, and Detectives will handle this.There is now a patrol in effect, and our staff is on top of it.I believe this is the start of something.

I'm a bit confused about what's going on with my banning on here.
I cursed on the chat with Tornado after it was hacked, and got banned for four days on OldCP and the Forums (even though Tennis said it was no longer apart of OldCP at first)
So yeah, I got banned for four days and I was totally okay with it. This happened at my friend's house (Karkittys) and she started making a bunch of accounts named after 'inappropriate body parts'

Again, I am not Karkittys and I already made a post about that, I'm not going to paste the link because the comments are quite chaotic and a moderator still hasn't locked it but here's a screenshot of what I said,

Anyways, a little later I tried logging into my account Perry38888 (the one I'm currently using now)

Perry38888 is my original OldCP and forums account- but it was banned; all my accounts were banned and I'm not too sure why I got ip banned... am I still apparently Karkittys or did you accidentally ip ban me because I'm related to Karkittys? Well besides the point, I'm using Perry now so I'm fine, I'm not ip banned on here and Frozo still has one day left.

The issue is this morning I went to log into OldCP and it said the accounts reset, so I made a new Frozo (with a pretty awesome id)
I went to sit by CoffeeCow until I remembered I was supposed to be banned, I was about to tell her but then Abush interrupted and said I was supposed to be ip banned because now I'm apparently a 'traitor' for doing nothing but cussing on the chat. So yeah, I'm pretty confused about why I'm ip banned for cussing then apologizing after, are you still confusing me with Karkittys?

Again, I apologize for taking advantage of the chat and I will never do anything like that again. I'm not too sure what's going on and I'd like my ip to be unbanned on OldCP (Frozo may remain banned) and if I am supposed to be ip banned please explain to me why.

Emperor Damen was so furious, "People are so corrupt!" he told his granddaughter Kara. "They hack, they cheat, they steal - It's a disgrace." "Pft, is it really that bad?" asked Kara. "It's actually worse than it sounds," replied Emperor Damen . "I have to teach people a lesson!" The Emperor continued. "Before you unjustly accuse people, let's travel Snaildom and see for ourselves." suggested Kara."Maybe there are more good people than you think."

Using parachutes, The Emperor and Kara transported themselves to Snaildom. There, they disguised themselves as peasants so that no one would know who they were. From shell to shell, the two " peasants " slid asking for bread. Unfortunately, it was just as bad as Emperor Damen thought. No one welcomed them. So it went at every shell in Snaildom until at last the " peasants " came to Archie's and Beth's. Their one room Shell was falling apart, for Archie and Beth were poor. they were also old, in their seventies, and had been married for sixty years! "Welcome! Come on in, come on in!" Archie said. "Will you stay for dinner?" Beth asked. "It isn't much, -- fruit, bread, olives, and diminutive Toblerones that will probably expire soon." Beth said with a sad look on her face. " DID YOU SAY TOBLERONE??" Kara shouted. " - cough - I mean ... we will gladly stay for dinner." Kara and The Emperor sat down at the very small wooden table. As Archie served the meal, Beth again apologized for the meal. "We live very simply, but the important thing is that we love each other. "Ok ok can we eat now?" Kara said. "Kara where are your manners?!" Emperor exclaimed. "Sorry ... I'm not me when I'm hungry." Archie laughed at Kara , but he had just found out something quite strange.


He brought his guests more food every time their plates were empty, yet the pot was still full. Only an Emperor was capable of such a miracle! Reading Archie's mind, Damen and Kara took off their ragged cloaks, and were again in their rich clothes. "Only this Shell has showed generosity. Tell me what you wish for the most, and I will give it to you." "Let us die together, so neither of us have to live without the other." Beth said. "And let this small Shell be our Castle!" Archie cried. And so it was. When they were about to die, Archie and Beth turned into trees.Both trees grew from the same trunk. Together, their long branches shaded Snaildom for decades.

General Tips
New applications are submitted every day to the DSGHQ, but some are overlooked due to bad organization, appearance, or grammar. Here are some tips to follow closely when applying for a rank.

Be sure your format is professional and easy to navigate. Sometimes too many decorative inclusions or too much colored text can give off a childish vibe and make administrators assume you aren't mature enough to properly moderate or represent the community.
Long applications are usually good when composed of the right information, but keep in mind that (much like an essay) the beginning and end of your application are the memorable pieces. Keep this in mind when organizing your application so you can make a big impact on readers with these two parts.
Sometimes summarizing things is better than explaining in detail. Let's be honest, most people don't take the time to read through a 4,000 word application, regardless of how great it is. Unless you're extraordinarily skilled in terms of keeping your readers interested, I recommend cutting it to the chase.
No matter how persistent you are, don't mail your application to a staff member or beg them to read it. This decreases your chances of being hired by at least 20%.


Information
If you can't think of the right information to include in your application, here are some things to definitely include, or definitely avoid.

Definitely include your timezone, age, experience, and special qualifications. These are the core components of an application.
Avoid explaining that you have good grammar. If your grammar is good, staff members will notice this while reading your application. Including your opinion on your own grammar just seems like a filler to make your application appear to have more information.
As great as it is to already know the moderation commands, they aren't exactly something you need to include in your application. Remember that an application is telling administrators about you, not the rank you want.
It's not required, but it's always nice to learn a bit about someone who's interested in a DSGHQ rank. Try including some of your favorite hobbies. It helps if you show leadership, patience, and/or responsibility through your favorite activities, though you should never fill your application with hobbies, because it's still an application, not a biography.

If you still need help creating an application, here's a form you can fill out in a separate discussion that will give us all the necessary information about you. Just copy and paste to fill it out. Try answering in complete sentences (or even paragraphs) to increase your chances.
