Hey-ya! I'm Skittles, and today I'm sharing you weekly News Report! I apologize for not making one last week, because I was moving in to a new home. Enjoy this week's edition of DSGHQ Insider!



Trial of Wheeler
The user Wheeler had a trial scheduled on Monday, October 25. He was accused oh hacking OldCP weapons. On that day, he confessed that he did hack weapons, such as a Rapidfire gun and was pleased guilty. His account was not executed, however his punishment is not gaining back Moderator until he is loyal to the Empire.

Trial of Matthewvacc
On Wednesday, October 25, 2015, Matthewvacc was given a trial for leaking a major Toblermoth scroll. He is pleaded guilty and has been sent to the Djinn Trials for life. Along with Gamer, he has to fight the Djinns and Snowfalls. He’s currently a Warlord, but if he survives, his abilities might be gone.

Halloween Costume Contest and Party
Saturday, October 31, also known as Halloween. On that day several users logged on to take part in the OldCP Halloween Contest of 2015. The winner would recieve 300 gold. Every user that participated had great costumes, but the Judges chose 10 lucky people to go in the finals. Trinity, Terry91, Orbae, Wavy, Cube, Jay14Blue, Swirlie, Jacy, Waterninja91, and Supermikey97. This was held at the thrones, and users had to decide who had the best costume. The winner with the most votes was Terry91! Everyone did an excellent job.
Later on there was a party at the dance club.

The Demotion of Abushekaus
Knight Captain, News Reporter, OldCP and XAT Moderator Abushekaus has been demoted for swinging his sword near Princess Iceesofie in the training room. Witnessed by a user, the action was reported. Abushekaus’s ranks were all taken away and his account was executed. His username is Abushe, and he still lives on.

Wedding of Orbay and CoffeeCow
Two lives have become one. Orbay and CoffeeCow’s wedding was truly a remarkable scene. The original date was scheduled on October 30, 3015 @ 12:00 P.M. EST. Unfortunately the wedding was called off on Saturday and rescheduled on Sunday due to Orbay’s late attendance.
And Sunday came along. The time was rescheduled to 1:00 P.M. EST at /jr wedding. Coffee and Orbay's wedding went succsessfully. A party was held afterwards:

Although I'm not an official News Reporter now, I'm thinking of adding a little comic on my reports. If you read a regular newspaper, they have a comic section full of illustrations and dialogue. So starting from next week, I'll add little illustrations or pictures to my newspapers. These aren't only supposed to be by me, it can be by you too! Just mail me your drawing/set of pictures and give me description of what it is, and it might be featured on my article.

**Note: It has to do with an event during that current week.

Greetings Users of the DSGHQ Community

I rarely do posts, but for now, I feel like there's an importance to this.

I would like to point something out that I've noticed this night, depression or worse, suicide.

First of all, I want to make the rules clear that it's prohibited to mention the word, depression in this community. The reason for that is due to the fact that we have young children who play in this community. We don't want them to be exposed to knowing them what that word means.

Based on the Google definition of depression this states as, feelings of severe despondency and dejection.

As you can see, depression is a real sickness.

Ever heard of other sickness such as: Ebola, Cancer, or any other severe sickness? Well, I see people in the community who thinks it's funny to create a joke about this. I would like to express my opinion on this.

Making fun of a disease is not cool. Do you realize how many people actually live with the sickness? Not only it hurts them to know, but it hurts you too. You're destroying your reputation once you make a joke like that.

What if you were in their shoes? What if you're living with Cancer and you just found out you're going to die. What if, someone made fun of you by mocking themselves saying that they have cancer too. How would you think about that?

Another thing I would like to mention is seeking attention.

There are a few people in this community who says they have a sickness when they actually don't, just for attention. We as a community care about you. We care about your health because we want you to feel safe. Do you think it's funny to joke around saying you have a disease just for attention? I think not. Once you joke about that, people will start believing on you. After that, you most probably will feel guilty for lying. Lastly, the truth comes out and people won't believe you anymore.

Last thing, please don't bring your real life problems towards the community. You may speak about your pet dying or you failing at school. What I mean is when you talk about depression or any other illness and spreading it to the public.

I'm just warning you, there are people who will back you out for saying those stuff. Next thing you know, you might feel worse because the person was being un-polite about it. This is the reason why we don't want you to bring your real life problems to the community.

Based on the rage at the moods section, I wish to end this and stay in peace. It's honestly not worth picking up a fight. As I always say,

I agree with everything except the quote...sorta. I understand what you're trying to get at, but to some users, I feel like the message they might feel like you're saying may be something like
"being dumb is better than talking and being though of as smart". So to be honest, maybe you should have said "It's always better to be silent and feel dumb, than talk and act smart". "Dumb" is a sensitive word to some people, and like you said, there are a lot of young children here. Other than that very small note, you're completely right.
