These problems have to be coming from somewhere? Im not in that chat but I keep getting its name brought up.

Well you’ve banned 60 of us without speaking or giving any information as to what it is we did, but if our server is the scapegoat for whatever has gone on then so be it.

The people who have your ear currently don’t like me on a personal level and they clearly call the shots so I won’t waste any time arguing here and will just thank you for developing games we’ve previously enjoyed.

As owner of the incredibly evil Shapiro chat, (entirely unrelated to DSGHQ btw), I will comply with Damen’s wishes to have all members banned as a result of a few people in the 60+ member server killing some penguins and being critical of his staff.

Shapiro have always had a policy of not “raiding” etc and so if people can provide me with evidence that the Shapiro server were to blame for whatever happened then I’ll happily look into it irrespective of my ban.

I didn’t see any users getting negatively targeted within Shapiro last night and so I don’t understand why our server is involved, personally I just feel that we’ve been singled out as some of the staff don’t like some of our users on a personal level.

I’ll list all names tomorrow when Damen’s 24 hours are up and will sadly accept my account here being terminated, along with my goated 9.6 like per post ratio :’(

Once again I’m sorry if some people who happened to be in my server killed some penguins or something and hope that the other servers people share aren’t randomly targeted either.

If this post somehow survives then feel free to hit me up on discord or the old RCHQ servers when they’re back up and running as I’m no longer allowed here.

Personally I believe you should quit this game and focus on your mental health (not spend 16 days a month+ on it) but I won’t stop you from making your own choices.

Best,

Posted in Leave POTM in 2020 • 29th December 2020, 09:34 AM

Why is this community, which is primarily aimed at children and young people, still bent on making users addicted to the platform?

I can’t stand looking at the POTM times where people often have over half of the month taken up by refreshing a forum every minute of the day that they are awake. Lets say the people competing to win the contest each month average around 13 days (which is where people are at already in December), that would equal around 150 days spent on a forum in a single year.

If you are spending this amount of time on any one thing alone then it’s clear that you have a form of addiction to whatever it is that you’re engaged with. Even if you were addicted to something productive such as work or exercise to this extent then it would likely be negative also, never mind in this case which is entirely for entertainment and is not productive in the slightest.

People at the age this community is aimed at have their whole lives ahead of them and should be using their time wisely to develop their futures. I therefore believe it is irresponsible to have this feature in a game and platform aimed at children as it creates nothing but addiction and obsession for certain users.

Even the *evil* big tech and social media companies are bringing in tools to help you monitor and cut down on excessive use as society wakes up to how damaging extreme digital addiction can be.

Instead the POTM should be picked based on different parameters based on actual contribution to the community and not just a contest for who can give up their lives the most in order to win something ultimately meaningless in comparison.

I’m mainly making this post as I know personally that, although I’m grateful for having had this community growing up and for many of the things it provided for me, the culture and rewarding of addictive behaviour did take hold of me when I was younger and I, along with others I know, we’re affected negatively by it in the long term even if we didn’t see it at the time.

If anyone has any positives of POTM the I’d love to hear them as I really can’t think of any for either the individual competing or the platform as a whole.

To the people obsessed with getting a good POTM ranking and wasting many hours of their days, weeks out of their month, and even months out of their year... STOP

Imagine if you spent this time productively instead by studying/working/exercising/creating something worthwhile.

Ah, you hear that? The lovely, soothing, natural sound of birds in the air on a lovely Das summer evening. (Wait, actually, that might be a cavetroll screaming mb).

Nevertheless, this was the scene as my good friend Pencil and I were spending another night glamping (posh camping for chads) on Das as we are STILL arrest on sight in the South.

(proof of this being enforced by the sly EH Sled)

Let it be known that NWO tried to appeal and repent for their sins by becoming the Nice World Order, however we were not accepted by the South and instead spat at which made my good friend pencil sad.

I too was sad, as the leftover rice and beans from IAPGMOOH 2018 were running low and quite frankly giving me the runs.

(omg throwback to when I won)

Then, just as we were about to carb up on our remaining rice, Southern scum decided to show up and attack us in our own tent home. After a while the dust settled as (I'll admit a somewhat chad) HarryHawk and the great Pencil3 could not defeat each other. We were still offended by their presence, but respected his efforts as a warrior.

THEN, none other than the figurehead of the Southern oppressive empire Sled showed up in our very tent. This made pencil cry in my discord dms and IRL as there was too much salt being rubbed in our wounds at this point. I therefore had no choice but to GRA TA TA SKRRRAP PA PA PA the EH as revenge.

Moral of the story is please get invited to camping trips before attending as the wilderness is a dangerous place.

NWO SHALL CONTINUE ATTACKS ON SOUTH UNTIL TAKEN OFF OF KOS.

Posted in Jdutr's Day at work • 30th June 2020, 05:07 PM

Hey guys, story time! (Rant about my day, ignore if you don't care ab me personally!)

Today at work it was a pretty normal day. I am an assistant at a pretty big firm and I was going about my usual duties; talking to people, listening to people whinge about things, etc. I had brought in a sandwich for my lunch and had set aside time to do a crossword puzzle around mid day. Everything was great. That was until I was informed by a few people that I had completed my latest work assignment totally wrong.

Now, at first, I wasn't too mad. After all I had asked the receptionist and my boss's handicapped son for their opinion and IMO that was a good enough set of people to ask for help. In fact, I let them do pretty much all of the assignment for me because tbh I don't like doing this part of my job anyway.

However, once more and more people had looked over my work, the criticism started coming towards me. I was shocked, especially after all I had done for the company since starting, such as, sending out news letters, equipping people with stationary, replying to my favourite colleague's emails. All difficult tasks that cause a lot of stress for me on a daily basis.

With that in mind, I decided I wasn't going to take it anymore. I'd had enough. I took action and composed a global email to all members of the company telling them that I was sick of them telling me that I had done something wrong and that my superior should have done my job instead (as I don't really enjoy mine and therefore it wasn't fair).

I'm grateful to be able to say that my favourite colleagues (the ones who get replies to their emails and I give the best stationary to) were quick to support me. It's so nice for people to have your back in situations like this.

That being said, unfortunately my boss wasn't happy with me. I saw "RE: Stop Giving Me Hate" come up in my email inbox. I got questioned as to why I messaged the whole company after just a little bit of criticism, but he can get lost tbh as it made me feel bad ig. I then realized that this was a further criticism and so I told everyone that I was leaving as a result of this onslaught.

As a stroke of luck, the CEO then rang me to say that he thought I was a great guy and wouldn't want me to leave. In all honesty he is probably too nice to me and I don't deserve him, especially as this is the second time this has happened. I have now returned to the company and I am hopeful that action will be taken against my boss (and maybe I can potentially take their position if I'm lucky).

TLDR;

The moral of the story is that you can achieve your goals if you really try. Sorry for bringing my troubles here but I just needed a little rant as we all do once in a while! :)

Take this. Your grandma's squeaky, slippery, uncomfortable sofa. Why does nobody enjoy sitting on it? Grandma is too strict resulting in nobody having a good time.

Take this photo of Frogs. Everyone has fun on Frogs' sofa. Eating, drinking, no cover, putting your feet up. BUT WAIT...

Frogs has now spilled his vintage red wine all over the sofa. It will never come out. The sofa has been ruined for everyone. He should have listened to his mom and not have been so reckless.

Grandma sofa users: Mods who enjoy banning people for little things, Knights arresting unarmed accounts, Detectives removing cz characters that annoy or threaten them, etc.... Nobody having fun!

Sofa stainers: people who kill randoms for "fun", cuss in order to look cool before making their 11th unban request of the week, make jokes at someone else's expense to the point where it becomes bullying. Crossing the line ruins it for everyone as it upsets people, but also gives the grandma users the authority to make everything way more strict than is needed and therefore way less fun.

There will always be people who misbehave in a way that's unacceptable (maybe now less than ever), but over the past few months I feel the grandma clique has really taken over to a point which we have never seen before. Staff generally seem to be more focused on keeping extreme order opposed to keeping things as fun as possible, resulting in people leaving either because they aren't in favour with the friend group of higher ranking people and get sidelined, or deciding to misbehave to an extreme to get some level of enjoyment/revenge.

That being said I respect anyone who keeps the values enforced, I just wish the power to do so was spread around people with varying personalities so that the feeling of bias and authoritarianism wasn't there.

Anyone feel the same?

The NWO were having a birthday party for Miro (hbd Miro) before you rudely came and shouted abuse at us and threatened to lock us up for sitting peacfully (just like police brutality).

Many years of this brutality frightened my poor drac minority friend Pencil and so he killed you out of fear.

Let it be known that you returned and killed 2X unarmed people out of anger!!! Pencil was obviously right to take preemptive action (attack is best form of defence if u know it's coming).

I therefore demand that you apologise to Miro for ruining his birthday and for slaughtering people before they were able to collect their party favors.
