this is more of a post announcing a break, not a permanent leave.

so, a few of my closest friends know that i'm becoming more and more inactive on oldcp due to stuff in my life that's been going on. i've been going through a lot in real life, some of it is caused by the stuff in my life that occurs online. my grades are hitting an all time low and my gpa is significantly lower.

i honestly think it's time for me to take a break. im letting how i feel get the best of me and i shouldn't do that. i'm not going to permanently leave this community, but im going to take a few months away from oldcp so i can attempt to resolve my issues. i'll visit occasionally, but not often. i'll stay on discord and forums so everyone has a way to contact me.

Hey everyone, I would like to say that Julianhak and I have been working on this project for 2 months. We have been working on the design of the game, as well as fixing vital scripts and making custom outfits for teams. The finishing touches have been applied, and we're proud to say that the game for this project is complete.
With that being said, I would like to call this project the DSGHQ Combat Tournament. The tournament will mainly focus on RCL and Linkedswords, as well as testing your patience and discipline.

Game nights will be hosted occasionally so you can hang out and play games with the tournament staff. Additional practices and trainings will be hosted to assist you with learning the basic knowledge of both weapons, as well as allow you to sharpen your skills and unrust. ELITE ROLES
Elite roles are given to those who have shown skill and excellence with guns or swords. They usually topfrag in any events that utilizes their primary weapon.

• Must provide proof of past KDRs, with proof of no exploits, ESP or hitbox expander.

This post is just going to be me pointing out some things about today's redemption and stating my opinion about it. This is not a news report on the topic. It's been about a month since I've actually written a serious post so I apologize if this post doesn't make sense.

Firstly, not trying to throw shade or anything but Victor had more NOs than YES and still got to stay. He literally doesn't interact with any users and appears to be AFK most of the time. There have been claims of him being biased toward the American and English users, but it's more of an accusation as I've seen no proof to support this claim. I know that he doesn't know English that well and has to translate, but if he interacted with users more then I would've voted to keep him. In all honesty, I really don't understand why people voted to keep him if you consider these.

I would also like to point out that Sadie is busy with university and has only been on for one hour this month. She is worthy of demotion. If she gets demoted, Joseph should replace her. He is Sadie's assistant and she would most likely want him to take over if she was ever demoted.
As you may know, Damen announced the disbandment of the Penguin Watch to be on January 1st, 2020. This is unnecessary, considering there are some users that still have interest in the watch. Kevin, Joseph, and I genuinely want to revive the PW. The issue with the PW is the inactivity within it. Sadie is inactive and there is no one enforcing the activity rules for both the PW and PWC. The PWC were also inactive and I doubt any of them did anything for the watch. If the SPWC and PWCs are inactive, who is going to enforce activity for the watch?

I would like to suggest an alternative to disbanding the Penguin Watch. Due to the interest me and a few others have seen for the Penguin Watch, I suggest that the watch not be disbanded but instead brought back under a new SPWC and three new PWCs. I was SPWC on iOldCP, so if I ever got PWC on OldCP I would like to suggest that the most active PW should get paid gold. This way activity is encouraged within the watch.
The final thing I'd like to point out is the fact that most of the moderators were voting here. I get that there aren't many users but the users that were there present should've sufficed for voting. It would've been much easier to count just a few users' votes rather than a huge crowd. I get that it's always been like this but it honestly should change.. not to sound rude or anything.
Damen doesn't have to read this, but I encourage him to really consider changing his mind about some of the results from this redemption.
