i honestly just made this post for really, no reason! but i hope some of you who read this may agree or put some of your input by replying to this discussion. anywho, i just wanted to say that this year has been hard. it's been hard personally because i lost one of my pets back in march and was thrown out of my own house when i was living with my mom and i am now living with my dad. i've personally struggled a lot with finding my own self worth and my depression and anxiety, but i made it and im so proud of myself for that. on top of that, it's been hard for a lot of us because of the obvious; the pandemic. the pandemic has forced us all to go basically into hiding and isolate ourselves. we don't talk to our friends as much, we're on the computer 24/7 doing school work, losing motivation, and we have a lot of time to ourselves and we have no distractions. i feel that this year was the year where everybody was tested in a way; maybe your faith was tested, maybe your motivation, confidence, etc. but at the end of the day im so glad we all got through it. i dont come on much anymore and am content with lurking the forums, but i do want to thank all of those who have been with me throughout the years. whether we've chatted a few times or we used to be really close and just lost contact; either way, thank you for being you. i feel that next year is going to be a MUCH better year than this year. i was going to write this around new year's, but i dont see any harm in writing this a bit early. i'm thankful that i was able to come back to the community and i was welcomed with open arms and i met two of my closest friends, layla and lou. they mean so much to me and i love them with my whole heart. voice chatting with them and knowing that they've been by my side when i was at my highest of highs and lowest of lows, it really made a difference in my life. so if lou and layla are reading this right now; thank you. and lastly, thank you to the rest of you lot! i love coming on here and joking around when i do get the chance and i'm so glad we're all still here after so many years.

Once again, thank you to Chelsey for making me the Radio Master! I love being a DJ and I'm so glad to be apart of the team. As you've seen the title, I am now hiring DJ's for the OldCP Discord! Hello!

My name is Indigo, and I’ve decided to apply for the position of representing the Crime Office in the Cabinet.

My first idea is to have the detectives have more of a presence in Crimezone. Detectives currently report on news, make summaries, and once in a while we’re given something to solve. I feel that we should be given more clues/riddles to solve, for example, as we were back in 2016 when Pirate Crimezone was happening. Detectives were given notes to decipher and users could join in as well; it would be something fun for both regular users and the Crime Office to do. Additionally, this would challenge detectives and make the rank more significantly enjoyable than it is currently for those who have it. Detective has been one of my favorite ranks I’ve ever had, but I’ve noticed that Dets don’t have much of a presence in Crimezone as we used to. In conclusion, I have more ideas to share but I feel that if this idea were to go through, both regular users and Dets could enjoy Crimezone more and it would encourage users to be engaged in Crimezone.

this is my favorite application ever

i really had no other title for this, but im gonna share what i think on the obvious, and a few other things to. this is just my outlook on things so please bear with me.


sled is a great person, friend, and has a beautiful personality. what she said was in the spur of the moment like she said and we all get caught up in the moment sometimes. i agree, i got caught up in the drama too.

i think what lead up to this was the built up anger in the community. we all know everybody says “damen doesn’t care for this game like he used to.” everyone felt neglected and this was bound to happen. nobody ever said damen couldn’t have a life and he didn’t deserve time for himself. however, for it to blow up the way it did? nobody expected that. i think what everyone was trying to do was give damen feedback/criticism, however it turned into this big ugly narrative and everything got so twisted.

i also feel like this community has been struggling with a lot of things for the past few years. the blatant racism from time to time, unfriendly lgbt remarks, drama; how are people supposed to feel happy in this community when it seems things like those have been normalized? we can do better as a community.

we have all known each other for years. whether youre a user who comes and goes or always stays, we still know one another. i think today it was a bump in the road for the community but i still like to be hopeful. i still like to think this community can change and i still believe it. ive seen people change and regret their past actions and better themselves. its possible; i can do it, you can do it, we can all do it. it wouldnt hurt for us all to take a step back and reflect a bit either.


id also like to take a moment to just be grateful for a second. thank you for everyone who has given me the opportunity to be myself. thank you for 6 years in this community; ive grown so much. im almost 17 now and its crazy to think we’re all still here.

i know this is cheesy, but the moral story of this post? we can all be better and we should forgive each other.
