RIP Damen, 1999 - 2016
Yes, it's sad, but true.
Our beloved game developer, Damen, has been dead for about three years now. And a massive conspiracy on behalf of the DSGHQ has kept this fact from her ever-diminishing legion of fans for just as long. But I've uncovered the truth. The one we've been calling Damen may be not a boy and not yet a man, but he is an imposter. And I have the evidence to prove it.
Let me start at the beginning:
It was late 2013, Damen had just wrapped up one of his first CPPS projects, "Oldcp.biz" and had recently completed choosing the staff members. The record label knew that they had a major custom CPPS on their hands. Damen had also just begun a relationship with Chelsey, and they promised to be the hottest couple on the DSGHQ community.
But then, 3 years after Oldcp.biz, Damen, only fifteen and not yet licensed to drive, borrowed his mother's car to go joyriding. With Chelsey in the passenger seat, Damen lost control of the car. Damen was decapitated in the accident. Chelsey was severely burned, received massive head injuries, and has since been in a coma. She was not expected to recover.
Damen's sudden death left his label with two options:
1) Shelve the game and DSGHQ.
Problem: They'd already invested much time and money in Damen's career, and would take a huge loss if they didn't keep the material running.
2) Continue them as being the final work of a once-promising-but-now-dead teenage game developer.
Problem: It's a known fact that teenagers in the early 2010's did not listen to dead people
Let's face it, neither option was acceptable. So one of the geniuses at the record label came up with an even better idea. Replace Damen with a look-alike and continue his career!
The heads of the label immediately headed to the nearest shopping mall and found quite a few boys who resembled Damen. They settled on a boy named Zac Smith, whose uncle Billy Smith had replaced Paul McCartney after his death in 1966.
But there were two problems:
1) Zac had a noticeably larger chest than Damen. The label handled this by starting a rumor that Damen had gotten through puberty.
2) Damen had Brownish-Blackish eyes, However, Zac has clear light green eyes.
3) Also, Zac had no discernible talent in developing games. But so far, no one's really noticed.
Of course, another problem concerned Chelsey. The label did not seem to care about Chelsey, so 2 years later they decided to disconnect the machines from her, causing her death. Ever since, Zac has payed people to pretend to be Chelsey. (RIP Chelsey, 2000 - 2018)
