i was an old player who was mostly known for being a former jester, an imperial knight, and even being one of the people chosen by rover during his attacks.
legit i cant even believe i still can go back to all that stuff cuz it was SOOO many years ago, but i would really love to get to chat with former players from oldcp.

Hi there. I'm Chris, and I'm going to be talking about something that nobody has the cahonies to talk about on these forums or on the game: how toxic the playerbase is. This game has to be one of the most bipolar and mentally draining experience in my LIFE.

1.) The Concept.
Yes, because it was such a great idea about a kids game becoming game of theones. " oh my god u know what wuld b a gud idea?? mixing.. a game about..virtual penguins becoming friends and having a blast.. but mixed with death, medieval timezones, and weapons!!11" Ah haaa.. no... HOW DOES STUFF like THIS come to people's wacky mind? I gotta admit, the crimezones were actually really fun. Key term were.. These crimezones now are boring and repetitive. " war and then we take care of different islands and declare MORE war and then after that? MORE WAR! Like, are you kidding?

2.) The whole game is literally a popularity contest.

There are two sections of the player base: People without weapons that are not involved with crimezones whatsoever, and theres the relevant people who have all the weapons, all the permissions, and all the special treatment. The first group? They are the outcasts. Nobody pays attention to THEM! I mean, Club Penguin IS a game about making friends and welcoming more and more people! Well not in this case it isn't. Some of you may be thinking that "I was such an active player though omg lol y r u ranting u hater? " THATS when I was so blind to see how toxic this whole game was. Anyway, wanna feel important in the game? Well.. you're gonna be out of luck if you don't have friends or special treatment! Too bad so sad!

3.) Swearing
One statement: Yes because its ok for murder of virtual penguins but not for swearing in a game full of teenagers and adults.

3.) The PLAYERS

Here's where it gets real. The players. Normally in club penguin, these players in the game should always treat others with respect, but I'm not talking with a pinch of salt when I say almost EVERYONE does not know what respect is. Sure you may argue that this CP is different from others, but it's STILL club penguin. And even if it wasn't, you should still know how to respect everyone on the game.

A perfect example of a player that I'm happily going to call out: Frogs (or forgs whatever)

Oh geez.
1.) Frogs has made many homophobic remarks and have bashed on many (including me) about how the lgbtq community should not be a thing and how lesbians are a bad thing. Despite these very harsh and rude remarks, he manages to get away with it.

2.) Hurts people out of feelings.
No not mentally. But physically. Well not that either since he's just killing virtual penguins. But that is NOT the point. After the homophobe incident, he comes on an alt and kills me with a SABER? And gets absolutely NO punishment for it. You see, if I were in the position of the guilty, I would get trialed or worse. Same goes with the other outcasts in this game. He goes too far, and gets special treatment because he's POPULAR.

You may argue that " lol this is coming from a guy that is still active in 2020 " and " lol this is coming from the guy that attacked at gom 2019" and can I just say some things...
1.) I came on in 2020 to congratulate Pacific on his well-earned moderator, and I decided to stay for a teeny bit because he's a close and good friend of mine. So yeah.
2.) Fair point, I did wrong thing during GOM. But from my knowledge, people have done MUCH MUCH worse than I did at that GOM.

Frog's has CONSTANTLY been trying to bring me down by calling me homophobic remarks (do not have pictures but Sled dealt with this so ask her.) But I will not let him, because I know he's dealing with stuff in real life.. so I don't wanna worry and stress him too much when he finally has the BALLS to come out as gay. Note that I've been trying to make up with him too, but he kept being homophobic.

I really did love this game. It was when the Crimezones were always so fun and interactive, the mods were always working to their fullest potential, and there was always respect going around. I don't know what the heck happened to make it so corrupt now, but have THAT Oldcp. I'm through with you.
