Notification Glitch
•
11th October 2014, 03:32 PM
Hey there! A little while ago, I got a notification. I checked my notifications, and there were two. One was normal, and one was blank.
This is the first time I have ever seen it, so it must not be a popular glitch, or it is a fairly new glitch and this is the first time I have encountered it. Whatever it was, I believe this should be fixed. This isn't the longest detailed post, but I am in a hurry and there was not much to explain. What are your thoughts?

Specific Names Cannot Be Taken
•
11th October 2014, 09:20 AM
Hey there! I would like to suggest something on Snaildom, and I honestly think this would help. I am suggesting that certain names cannot be taken.
Why the idea? Since Snaildom came out to the public, more and more iceghost/blackhawk names have been taken. Many names can be taken easily, for Snaildom has been out for merely a week, and it would be quite easy to take a name like Mais and try to become a Blackhawk. (Freddy had some proof of a fake Mais) Not to mention though, groups or people against Snaildom haven't really come out yet, so these names wouldn't be used for now/ever.
What do you think of this idea? Comment on the flaws of this idea, etc. Thanks!

Excuse me, but in the past weeks, I have seen you make useless discussions. They have no point to them. Not to be rude, but I would suggest to stop making these kinds of pointless posts. Thank you.

Dan Cheating Likes Evidence
•
9th October 2014, 11:51 AM
Hey there! Today, I was roaming around the Forums, and I came upon Dan, a member that has been here for almost a year. He has 138 likes, and 9 posts. At first, I thought this was non-the-less a reason to say he makes great posts, yet I viewed all his posts one by one. I noticed one thing they had in common. They all had a range of 7-11 likes on each, except for one.
This was the only discussion he made, which I have a theory on. I believe he has 8 files, for some likes he earned, yet most he didn't. The discussion he made got 21 likes, which must have meant that he got about 12-14 likes from that one post, yet in addition gave 8 likes for every post he made adding about 8 to 13 making 21.
Another proof he is cheating likes is because I noticed one post he created which was 2 words, yet got 10 likes:
The original discussion only got 2 likes itself: http://forums.damenspike.com/view/21990/
This must have meant he had gotten 2 likes originally, and if my theory is right, he would have added 8 likes to all the posts he made.
In conclusion, Dan is a former clique member, and I would not say is trusting in my eyes. I believe he is Cw's cousin, I don't know all the facts, but Dan could not have earned all these likes on his own. Comment on your thoughts. Thanks.

Rank Judging

Well, I ultimately agree with what you are saying. Yet, I have to stop you there.
I agree, rookies don't get off easily, but one of the requirements for Moderator is to have been on the Forums for at least 7 months. There have been some that have bypassed this rule, but many of the rules for Moderator are broken, such as the age rule where you need to be 12-19 to be Moderator. Many such as Tacofun, Dice, Moshi, Hashir, and many others have proved they were fit for Moderator, no matter what their age was.
But, I have to say this. Sometimes, you have to be patient, and not make a Moderator application in one of you first few posts. Now, I am not saying you did, yet it would be best to get around the Forums more before you start making an application, etc.
I might not be able to help you, but I would like to give you some advice. Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.

Name: CPManiac
Level: I would say I am professional, yet I would probably be in-between intermediate and professional.
No, I wouldn't rage if I lost or anything.

Name Stealing
•
5th October 2014, 07:24 PM
Cyberwolf called it lol. But this is a major problem. Name taking happens usually at the beginning of any new game, such as Snailschat, PenguinIsles, Snaildom, etc. This can be a major problem for they can make imposters of some of our best users, and act like they are doing these devious things when they aren't.
I honestly thought it was you until Cyberwolf told all that it wasn't the real Key. When I asked "Key123" about this, he ran and left the inn. That isn't the point. All fake accounts should be deleted, and there should be an ip-ban created so all the users that took the names cannot retake them. As for old users, I think the same thing should happen.

Snaildom Gold!

Hello! So I have been wondering this can happen! Ok so can we transfer gold too people on Snaildom? I think it will be a good idea! So we can always get gold. But we can try it for a day. And then if it's good we may do it! I hope it sounds like a good idea! Stay gold!

Well, I am not saying I hate the idea, but someone could make multiple accounts and give gold to themselves. I thought about this last night. Yes, if you did make multiple accounts, it would still take time to earn the gold. On the other hand, you start with 100 gold, and that can be transferred to yourself.
In general, there is a few problems with the idea, but overall I like it.

Snaildom Suggestions
•
4th October 2014, 07:54 PM
Hey there! Today is the first day of Snaildom (Non-beta) and I would like to suggest a few things for the better of Snaildom.
Ip-banning- There was someone today that I had to ban and made multiple accounts, and would not let something go. I thought we could have ip-bans on here to help with this.
Friending Suggestion- When you click the Friends List, I thought we could have a button that would be able to tell others when they want to friend you, "Sorry, this person is not looking for friends right now"
Some Commands we could have- Here are some commands I think we should be able to have:
These are all my suggestions, and I would like your comments on each one of them. Bye now!

- Go-to command- This would allow you to go to your friends when they are online.
- Activity Command- I thought since this is a cool thing on OldCp to have, that we could have it on Snaildom.
- Room Command- Yes, I know I can count how many are in the room, but I think it would be a cool addition.
- Online Command- This would show you if a person is online.
- Id Command- Lets you see what id someone has (/id ({snail's name})
- Staff/Mod Command- This command would show you all Staff/Mods online.
These are all my suggestions, and I would like your comments on each one of them. Bye now!

Snaildom Jobs
•
4th October 2014, 07:07 PM
I would like to apply for Inn Manager. I would like this job for the following reasons:
I am experienced. I was a Snaildom Beta Tester, and I have a large knowledge of Snaildom.
I am active, and I think I would fit well with the job because I would be able to answer questions about the Inn, I would be able to manage the Inn, etc.
I would say I am responsible, yet that would be a lie. I am half responsible, half silly, yet I keep my silliness to myself when it comes to jobs/ranks.
I am 13, and I have been told I have amazing grammar and spelling. This isn't exactly a reason, but merely my age.
I would like the opportunity to show that I can juggle multiple jobs, and also because I have never had a job other than Moderator, and I would like to see if I can handle it.
I am different than others, for I understand more about the DSGHQ. I might be known to make grammatical & spelling mistakes (etc), but I leave that behind and make sure to think about what I can do for the DSGHQ.
This might not be like other applications, but I wanted to make it original. Good-bye!

Snaildom Beta Facts
•
4th October 2014, 05:28 PM
Hey there! Since Snaildom is open, I would like to list a few facts/things that were in beta/aren't here anymore.
There were many glitches in Snaildom Beta, such as:
I can nearly say there were so many more, yet I cannot remember them & there were only a few days of beta since glitches were fixed quickly. Beta was extremely fun, yet I am extremely glad Snaildom is finally open. Have a great evening!
- Coins for games were 2 times more on the first day.
- Rainbow shells were available at the Royal Courtyard.
- For the Archery Game, you used to push Shift instead of Space.
- Moderators and Administrators could speak unlimited. (Yet the chat is now limited)
- There was no chat log.
There were many glitches in Snaildom Beta, such as:
- The naked glitch (Where it showed you were naked when you weren't) This might have been the most difficult glitch.
- The double-name glitch (Where it showed one's name and showed it a few feet over too.)
- The Double-shot glitch (where it shot two times instead of one in the Archery game)
I can nearly say there were so many more, yet I cannot remember them & there were only a few days of beta since glitches were fixed quickly. Beta was extremely fun, yet I am extremely glad Snaildom is finally open. Have a great evening!

Beautiful post. Although we cannot stop bullying completely, we can help others one at a time. This post honestly amazed me, for I have seen others like it yet there was something to it. I don't know what, but this post was in a way was more touching than others. Thanks for posting this +1 c:

A Dream I Had Recently
•
4th October 2014, 10:44 AM
Hey there! Okay, this might be totally irrelevant to the title when I talk about this, but here goes. I had a dream last night, and it was about me being demoted. Idk why, but that isn't the big details Anyway, Damen said I could have one last speech.
None of that is relevant to what this is about, so feel free to aim your thoughts more on the next few paragraphs. I started off with positions. I said that some don't need positions, they want them. It is like a craving for power, and some want to feel the power they have over others. Another reason why we want positions is to be the best we can. To prove that we can earn that position.
I thought about this again, and I said something about the work of each position. If you don't realize it, there is responsibility to each power. There is labor put into every rank. No, it is not easy working with a rank, yet the power seems to balance it. No, this isn't the case. With ranks, you are expected the most out of everything, and one mistake can lead to the demotion of you.
Your time here should be valued. If you spend all your time trying to earn that rank you always wanted, you'll never be able to spend much time with your friends. Sometimes it is hard to have friends that respect you for who you are if you are always working. Now, remember, ranks are pretty amazing. It gives you the power to help the DSGHQ. But ranks can lead to corruption, which leads to demotion. Then no one would be your friend unless you have true friends.
Now, that part was just to show that it isn't always easy holding up a rank. In conclusion, I want you to hear what I am saying. Ranks are great. Ranks comes with responsibility. You can go power hungry if you don't get as much power as you possibly can, and end up like some of the demoted moderators we have now. They abused their power and they are finished. Thank you. And Damen demoted me.
Yet in the end of my dream, I hung out with my friends, and realized ranks aren't everything. Ranks can make you go power hungry, yet sometimes you progress. You win some, and you lose some. Nobody is perfect I thought to myself, yet if you waste your time trying to be, you'll lose everything that had real meaning to you.
And thus my dream ended and I woke up and typed this down.

Snaildom Beta Testers and Answers
•
1st October 2014, 08:47 PM
Honestly, I think beta testing for Snaildom is an amazing opportunity to have. I am extremely ecstatic that I with others will be beta testing a new game which in words will be replacing OldCp. As much as I will be sad to see OldCp go, Snaildom will have many more opportunities for all of us, including new experiences.
I am truly honored to be a beta tester of Snaildom, and I cannot wait to start Beta tomorrow.
