Yes, it doesn't matter about winning, it matters about having fun. Also, there are plenty of teams, you could join one anytime this week.

You can get a higher rank by earning it. To earn member, you should have about 50 good posts, and a pretty good rep. So, that is how you can get member, the rank you'll most likely get next. To earn Master, you should have about 400 posts and 100 rep, and be trusted and don't break rules. To earn moderator, you should have a good amount of rep and posts, and have never broken a rule, be trusted, ect. This is how you get your rank higher.

I agree, I used to go on newcp for hours and do nothing, and I thought it was fun. Then, one day on youtube, I searched Oldcp since I wanted to see newcp when it was old, and I saw Oldcp.biz, and clicked it. And then I joined . I notice now how boring newcp is, and how awesome this game is.

Moderator contest

The mod comp is when people create teams, and most just join a team. There are about 5 tasks each round. Here is an exampleof a task: Form a heart with your group members, run the Nightclub, and more tasks. There are usually 3 rounds, 1 round is a day. On the final round, finalists are picked. There are no longer teams, only about 10 finalists. They need to do a task that usually takes about 30 minutes, or so. Then, who ever wins the competition, becomes a moderator!
Thats a little about it!

Great! Some things you could add: Experience, why you want mod, what you would do as a mod, and how long you have been on oldcp. Those are just some thing you could add! Good job!
