Do you like gold?
Good, because I'm giving it away!
That's right, 235 gold to the person that can answer these 3 riddles correctly!
Yep, there's the catch.

1. John's mom had 3 kids; April, and may. Who was the third?
2. If you dig 3 feet by 2 feet, how much dirt is in the hole?
3. Imagine you are in a dark room. How do you get out?

Good luck! 235 to the FIRST person to get all three questions correct!

-Pieguy

1) Either John, April, or May.

2) None

3) Window or door.

Close, first two are correct!

For three, there are several possible answers

3) Well, imagine in your head that you walk out of a window or door.

3) Stop thinking about it

You were the FIRST one to get them correct!

Posted in Depression • 16th October 2015, 10:27 PM

Odds are, if you're alive and breathing, and you have human emotion, you've been sad before. Don't worry though, we've all been there. Sadness is a completely normal emotion that we ALL feel from time to time.
But I'm not here to talk about normal sadness. Rather, something more pressing.
Depression.
Fact is, depression is a very serious issue in today's society. Many people on Earth suffer from some form of depression. But that's okay, because they're not alone.
Unfortunately, sometimes depression escalates. Recently, I came very very close to losing a friend due to depression.
Anyway, depression is indeed very serious. And let me start by saying this: if you or someone you know is depressed, please, please help them or yourself. Please.
Depression is the feeling of chronic sadness, guilt, and most negative feelings. Many people who are depressed seem so happy and cheery on the outside, but are completely opposite on the inside. They seem perfect, but they're really not. Now, that's not to say everyone who seems happy is depressed. There are normally other signs. Especially if you have a deep conversation with them.
I'm simply treading the surface with this...disorganized discussion. Right now in my life, this subject is very near and dear to my heart. The whole point of this was to open your eyes to something we don't often talk about, which I understand. It's uncomfortable. But someone has to talk about it. I just wanted to give you the very basic details on depression and raise awareness for it.
Again: if you or someone you love and care about is depressed, please help them or yourself. It is a serious and pressing issue, and must be acted on ASAP.
Thank you if you read all of this, it was quite long, and I guess I just kind of ranted.
Goodnight,
-Pieguy

Unless you are living under a rock, odds are you've heard of the book series of 'The Lightning Thief,' better known as simply 'Percy Jackson.' Same goes with Harry Potter. I mean seriously, Harry Potter is a given. So, here comes the question me and my classmates still struggle to come to a peaceful conclusion with to this day.
Although the final Harry Potter (HP) book came out in the late 90's, we still debate if it's better than Percy Jackson (PJ) or not. Personally, I fancy Harry Potter more. I find Percy Jackson to be too slow, but Harry Potter to be more suspenseful. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. What about you? If you've read at least one of either book, I'd like to know which one you prefer, so I have actual statistics to prove more people enjoy Harry Potter....muhahahahahahahahahaha!

Well golly gee, I see absolutely nothing morally wrong with that problem. Wow, I so wonder why they don't like you? You can't just two time people. Pick one.

Posted in Save Button • 24th December 2014, 07:54 PM

Hey penguins!
So, have you ever been toward the end of a lengthy post, when you have to get off the computer and go somewhere before you can finish it? What happens then? You have to restart the whole post later. Well, this happens with me too often, and I think a solution would be a save button.
How it would work:
My idea is that, when editing, at the bottom of every post is a button that says 'Save'. When clicked on, whatever you have typed will be saved and will show up in your profile/notifications.
I believe this would be great to have on our forums, and posting would be so much easier. If you have to leave and your in the middle of a post, just save it and come back to it later, as opposed to having to restart the post.

Geek- I'm a Geek. Geeks are smart, often in at least 1 AP class, always obsessing about beating their high score in a game, they're "in" with the style, moderately popular, social, and many geeks hate books. Geeks are generally not sporty people. Geeks love comedy and are more creative.
Nerd- Nerds are the really smart over-achievers you explained. Nerds are extremely analytical, love books, and some video games. Nerds hate sports. Nerds prefer non-fiction, drama, and are less creative.

Posted in Penguin Watch Application • 22nd December 2014, 08:39 PM

Hello penguins!
Today I would like to apply to be a part of the Penguin Watch! I hope you consider me, and thank you in advance if you take the time to read my application carefully.
In-game name: pieguy
Age: 13
Past Experience- Former PW Captain, PW creator (came up with the idea), former and current detective, former Mod (twice), fought in the Ice Ghost war.
Activeness- I am willing to commit to the minimum activeness of a PW member (3 times each week, 10 min. each)
Trust- I believe I am trusted on OldCP, I was entrusted with a firearm by Damen, and I was a mod 2 times for about 4 1/2 months each term.
Why I should be a PW member again- I came up with the idea for the PW, and I was a PW Captain for almost 7 months. I am a former Mod, currently a Detective, and I will NEVER abuse power. I swear on my life to that. I am responsible and mature, trustworthy, and I admit to mistakes. I know lots, but I also realize I have much to learn. Also, I am more than willing to agree to ALL commitments a PW member must make.
Thank you, and please consider me as a PW member again. In conclusion, I have lots of past experience, I am mature, responsible, trusted, and active. Thank you if you consider me, and thank you even more if you make me a PW member.
Sincerely,
~Pieguy

Yes, yes. I know this has been said before. But we need a reminder.
So, lately I've been getting notifications of people replying, liking, disliking, etc... posts of mine that date back to LAST YEAR. They are about old events (like when I just got mod, or when crimezone first started,) that are completely irrelevant or have ended a long time ago.
Here's a tip:
If the post hasn't been made within the last month, it's probably irrelevant.
Of course, there are exceptions. If it's the first week or so in a month, you know. Comment on older posts that happened the month before.
What I'm trying to say is that it gets really annoying when people update a REALLY old post, and then it pops up in your notifications, and is the most recently updated post on the main forum page.
If it's irrelevant, it doesn't need to be brought up. Okay?

To whom it may concern,
I would, yet again, like to apply for a Detective, a rank I formerly was.
I have a good record, never banned, kicked, arrested, or IP banned (for good reason).
I am a former Detective, Moderator, PW Captain and Creator, and I fought in the OldCP Ice Ghosts war earlier today.
I have good investigation skills, as many of you know. I was wanted by so many people...
Anyway, I am loyal and trustworthy, although I may not come off as it at first, I am quite loyal and trustworthy.
I am responsible. I have never lied and I am willing to take the blame for things I have done. If you are man enough to do it, you should be man enough to own up to it.
I am patient.
Well, I hope you consider me. I apologize if this seemed informal, I didn't have much time to make the application.
