I very much agree. When you resign but decide to come back because you regret it, it is a risk to re-promote them because they may be fickle and unloyal. Though others should get chances, people with skill need to be promoted.

If you are demoted, and want to work hard to earn Moderator back, or if you resign and have regrets, I think it is a better thing to really work harder instead of just voicing it out there. I understand regret very much, we make terrible choices. But sometimes it has to take time. I do think more people should be given the opportunity though.

What bothers me is some unorganization. But that is for another time, and I really liked how you worded this post. I do see many people who would be great on the staff team, and they do need chances.

You need to be experienced on Oldcp AND Forums to be Oldcp and/or Forums Moderator, just to make that clear. Moderator is something you must be very trusted for. You should earn Member, probably even Master, before applying.

When a Moderator, you should always expect the unexpected. Yes, some user can be VERY annoying, but if you are patient, calm, and kind, you will find that you can get through any situation.

"Love your neighbor as much as you love you."
That, is very true and that also stuck out to me. This is also influenced by, if some of you may know,
"Love thy neighbor as thyself."

Ah, congratulations! I do hope she sees this. Player of the day is a nice little reward. I have yet to receive it, but hard work will always shine through.

This is very kind to do this for someone. I remember, before ever becoming mod, someone did this for me, and it does fill one with hope. Making posts like these don't secure that one will get the rank, nor does it fully count as a "recommendation." Though it makes people feel very happy. It gives them more hope, and confidence.

Posted in How do i get the URL? • 10th April 2015, 01:11 AM

You can only Copy the URL if it is found on the internet. If it refuses to work, make sure it is from the internet, or try saving it in your documents and try uploading from there. If still having issues, try using the download Lightshot. It is virus free, easy to use, and convenient.

If you need a refresher on the rules, go ahead and check out the rules page. It's alright to ask for help, but like Lemonade stated, make sure not to advertise it here. I also have no helpful tips to give for this cause, sadly, but I do wish you luck with any project you wish to pursue.

I hope you all remain safe throughout this.

Where I live, we have no hurricanes, tornadoes, or earthquakes. We have earthquakes, but they are very small and rarely felt. Anything close to a tornado here is only probably going to uproot a sapling, and we are in a drought so the closest thing to a hurricane is a thunderstorm. So, I have no experience of this whatsoever. But I can tell you, stay close to family, and think the most positive.

Rumors are ugly things. They come out from the mouth as lies; perceptions that are false, and they spread as quickly as a wildfire.

I am glad you think so! I agree, our community is quite great, isn't it? There is a lot to do even on the Forums.

That means the host, the thing that we use to host the server on the internet, is being switched to another host.
Think of it like someone was hosting a party- they weren't a good enough host, so they went to another party with a different host hosting it.

Sometimes it takes a little bit to do these changes. Please be patient while this change occurs.

Lol, this made me smile.

The worst thing that can happen to you while brushing your teeth is when the toothpaste falls in the sink. :(
