That's because the server adds something to the message (like *mutters*) before the message is displayed to everyone else. So on your chat logs it shows the original one you typed and the one the server sent out... it appears once for everyone else.

Xat Chat Rule
•
4th July 2015, 04:31 PM
Hey.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about whether or not you are allowed to own and advertise a xat chat for the DSGHQ so here is the official rule.
You may NOT run and advertise a xat chat based on the DSGHQ unless it is approved by the Chat Warden (currently Tennis) and they have the rank Main Owner on the chat.
Xat is a wonderful resource but is full of people who could harm you. This rule is to keep you guys safe and I hope you respect/follow it.
Advertising an unapproved xat chat is considered the same thing as advertising a banned website.
If you accidentally did advertisement for xat chats before this post was created you will not be punished unless you keep doing it.
Thanks!

Ban Appeal Guidelines
•
4th July 2015, 12:53 PM
Ban Appeals are Forum Discussions created by users banned on a DSHGQ game/service who wish to be unbanned. Most appeals are denied by Moderators and Administrators because they do not include the right information. Appeals are only considered if they include the ban reason and/or proof that the ban was unfair.
What to Include in the Body Post
1. Username(s) and Game/Service: This is pretty self explanatory, write your username, the username of the account that is banned and the DSGHQ game/service your account is banned on.
2. Ban Reason: List the reason(s) that you were banned for. Even if you think the ban was unfair include the ban reason.
3. Appeal: Let us know why you should be unbanned, if you have proof of an unfair ban include it here. Don't write something vague like "I promise I wont do it again"... be thoughtful and sincere.
Other Information
- Somewhere in your title write "appeal" or "ban appeal".
- Make sure your appeal is in the "Banned" section.
- Do not lie in your appeal... you are have a better chance of getting unbanned if you are honest and say you are guilty than lying and saying you're innocent.
If you follow this structure you have a pretty good chance of being unbanned, contact me if you need any help. (Other appeal guides: http://dsghq.com/view/12421 http://dsghq.com//view/12420 )

I like this idea... it helps teach business/investment and encourages people to buy gold.

Royal Council Changes
•
27th June 2015, 11:04 AM
Hey,
Recently it has become hard to get all our OldCP Moderators on at the same time for Royal Council meetings (commonly referred to as a mod meeting) twice a week, so I am going to change it up a bit.
From now on, the meetings will always happen around 12pm (noon) EST / 5pm UK on Saturdays. This will allow mods from all timezones to attend. Moderators and Administrators, please try and have this time on Saturdays available, it is required that ranks 3+ attend these meetings.
Royal Councils will not happen when there is a Council of the Rank (so we will not have a meeting today).
Thanks.

LeoRPG Alpha Testing Video!
•
15th June 2015, 11:30 PM
Hey everyone,
Today I have a real treat for you... raw (unedited) video footage of the LeoRPG Alpha Test! In the video, (which Damen describes as "a perfect little vid") Damen (Drake) and I (Skeletor) join forces in a co-op Hunger Games match. I had to use Skeletor because Dead Drake decided to... well... take another trip to the Under World. The point of co-op is to survive as long as possible against hoards of Skeletons and Skeletors. Enjoy the video and share it with your friends... this is what you have to look forward to in the coming months!

LeoRPG Alpha Testing - Combat
•
14th June 2015, 12:25 PM
Hey everyone.
LeoRPG Alpha Testing is still underway, Cyberwolf, Damen, Raindrop and I have spent hours testing and improving the game, which will be ready for beta soon (hopefully). Today Damen (Drake), Raindrop (Skeletor) and I (Dead Drake) logged into the Hunger Games server and tested two of the combat mini-games: Standard and Co-Op. We focused on maps, new weapons, chat system and the continuity between different computers.

Co-Op
In Co-op Hunger Games players work together to kill as many skeletons as they can before they run out of lives. Eventually Skeletor (a black flaming skeleton) appears, he is a "king" skeleton and is harder to kill than anyone else.

These codes are a way to improve Imperial Security and the goal is for all fighting-related ranks to work together to keep us at Defcon 4 or 5. It's also a good way to keep you guys informed with what's going on.
