What is a LeoRPG Ambassador?

LeoRPG Ambassadors are users who love the game so much, they want to tell their friends and the world about it.

What do LeoRPG Ambassadors do?

Ambassadors regularly promote LeoRPG by inviting new players to this discord server, posting about the game on social media, and messaging their friends about why they love LeoRPG. They are our brand ambassadors, and always uphold the community values and regularly play LeoRPG.

What perks do LeoRPG Ambassadors get?

Every LeoRPG Ambassador receives a custom role and access to private discord channels where they receive exclusive sneak peaks at new content, talk to fellow Ambassadors, compete in contests for cool prizes, and chat with LeoRPG staff. Every two weeks, the Ambassador who invites the most people to this server using their invite link or gets the most likes/retweets on a social media post will win a prize. Also, one random social media post and invite link will be randomly selected to receive a prize every two weeks.

How do I become a LeoRPG Ambassador?

To become a LeoRPG Ambassador, invite at least ten different people to this server through an invite link you made (we will check to make sure they aren't burner/alt accounts!) or post about LeoRPG on social media using the #LeoRPG2 and get at least 10 likes, retweets, etc. Once you do either (or both) of these things, send a message in #ambassador-signup with a screenshot. We can check and see how many times your invite has been used. If you opt for that path you do not need to screenshot, just send a message.

LeoRPG Discord Radio

I've set up a bot on the LeoRPG Discord that allows us to do radio streams using soundcloud, spotify, youtube, etc. If you're interested in doing a radio broadcast on the server send me a mail with your Discord username and the date/time you want to do it. Songs must be clean!

What are you most excited for?

These mods are used to moderating a game with 20-30 users on a day maximum, and now we are getting 80 routinely. Give folks time to adjust.

Agreed. The new rule is not meant to target those who have already admitted their lies, but rather to encourage no new users to follow in their footsteps.

Agreed, and that's why I'm concerned about this rule. We are all young people and many of us feel unsure about their identity. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. If you do, though, lying about it is against the rules. But again, online safety. If you're comfortable revealing it that's fine, but if you're found to be lying that is not.

I had written a longer post about catfishing and my thoughts on this problematic behavior that seems to have become a pattern on the DSGHQ. However, I decided to go against the more dramatic route an instead talked to Damen about it.

Subsequently, Damen decided the following:

We do not lie about our age or gender ***

*** You are strongly advised to reveal as little information about yourself as possible. You are also strongly advised not to 'online date'. Whatever you do choose to reveal must be the truth or it will incur serious consequences: rank ban & suspension.You are not allowed to reveal your full name, address, date of birth or you will be suspended. Anyone asking for this kind of information will be banned indefinitely.

If you choose to online date, be warned. Many times people are not who they claim to be. Be safe, be smart. And to the catfishes out there, realize the harm you do to those you lie to, especially when they trust you and love you.

However, I there's still one issue I have not seen addressed by your organization.

Who are you to decide who is worthy of the throne? What authority do you have?

The PLA is a paramilitary group, and your mission to "replace" leaders who you deem incompetent in real terms just means revolution. If you are not part of the government, and this you have the authority to remove leaders, then you a revolutionary. As I've always said, work within the system to achieve the change you want. The PLA is not the southern army or administration, you're simple users who may or may not have ranks and no offense but that does not give you the power or legitimacy to make decisions about who sits on the throne.

Has revolution ever worked in this community? No. And all fanciful language and claims aside, PLA is a revolutionary organization. Do not pretend otherwise.

Sure, PLA could serve as a watchdog against corruption. But a watchdog just watches, they do not interfere with force, espionage, or any other form of influence passive or active. Peaceful protest is fine, but again you do not have any authority to speak with any more weight than any other user. We all have opinions, just because express them from the voice of an organization does not mean your opinion should be considered more worthy.

On a personal note (which I know many people will disagree with, for legitimate reasons), I think Raindrop sitting on the throne is the wisest move right now. As a former EH and Emperor myself, I know from experience that anytime someone besides Damen or his family sits on the throne there is unrest and drama. Sled is an excellent leader of the south/OldCP, and EH is the perfect position for her. Would Sled make a good empress? Yes. But there is no doubt in my mind more drama would ensure, and/or attempts to corrupt the integrity of the South through a perceived weakness compared to Damen/his family. Just as in the olden days CW served as the EH to an inactive Damen, Sled should continue to serve as the EH to an inactive Raindrop.
