Shelly said he was going to leave if people kept on being mean to him, so that is what he did. People stared when he got his things and started leaving, the baby of the pack, Slimisa, felt a couple tears come out of her eyes. Still, everyone stared until he disappeared, not to be seen. Shelly thought he would have a wonderful life alone, and make some new friends. He smiled, and the other moved a bit closer, and still, stared at the path that he left on. After about an hour, he was still wandering around in the woods. He was covered in leaves with sap on it, about a couple twigs in his shell, and he got a black eye from about 5 bees stinging him in the eye. He tripped on a rock, and his eyes fell on an amazing bottle...

Sparkles of purple, red, green, yellow, white, and all other colors came bursting out of the bottle. Finally, all the sparkles became smoke & steam. Then, an old man came shooting out of the bottle. He said, welcome, my dear snail. What is your's o' name? The old man had a funny accent, well, just one for someone old. Shelly said, "Hi... my name is Shelly... Who are you?" The old man stroked his beard an said, "Ho ho, my dear name is Shellern, the snail god," Shelly just froze with a strike of shock bursting on his heart...

"But, but, but.... There is now such thing as the 'Snail God,' there is no stories or rumors or-" Shellern interrupted, "Because exactly no one heard of me, ol' Shellern." Shellern had a snail shell on his back, no feet, instead he had a snail body, and his hands were also like a body of a snail, but he usually floats in air, not slowly moves across the ground. Shellern said, "I know what your doing right now, running away from your's ol' family, if you want, I can help you get somewhere..." Shelly said, "Sure thing!" and winked...

They both started to wander off in the woods, nothing much. Finally, they ended up in the Undead Woods, the most deadly area in all the Hound Forest. Shelly only had one shiver, Shellern just opened his eyes a bit big at the sign that was cracked and loose enough to fall. They still kept up there paste, and nothing happened to them for awhile. They stayed in a nice area for the night, Shellern made a fire, since he had hands, Shelly just pushed some leaves over with his shell, to make a soft floor to sleep on. They just finished eating, and they heard 1 loud THUMP...
