How can i not be scared?
•
25th June 2015, 07:39 PM
Worrying is just a part of growing up. I used to have constant fears over pretty much everything, including alcohol. But as I got older, those worries disappeared, because the more you live, the more exposed you are to things you're not comfortable with. And eventually you get used to it. For example, I was terrified of even the idea of going to loud parties and drinking. But now that I'm in high school, I hear about it all the time. None of those conversations really scare me anymore, because as long as I'm not involved, I won't become a "bad" person (but not everyone who goes to parties are bad).
But the only advice I really have to help you stop your fear is to accept the fact that you aren't comfortable with certain ideas about not-so-great things, and keep in mind that thinking about something can't harm you. And sometimes it's good to worry about bad things in this world, because you'll have a higher chance of avoiding those problems in the future.
As for germs, you'll probably ignore them eventually, too. Keep in mind that we do need bacteria to build immunity. You don't need to be extremely clean everyday to avoid getting sick because our bodies can fight them quickly, unless you have REALLY bad hygiene or if you're out in the cold for too long.

I've been offline for a very long time (so busy), and now I'm so confused about new updates, news, etc. When I finally went back online, so many things have happened.
OldCp is back?
Why won't it load on my screen? Why does it say "harmful page"?
Why won't any CP sites except for the official one let me log in?
I heard there's a new snowball server?
And dadada so on.
I know I've been living under a rock to have missed out on well, everything, but if any of you are super patient enough to explain to me what's up nowadays, I would much appreciate that.
Sincerely,
your soy sauce on rice

I've been seeing a lot of Samsung commercials and they're dissing Apple… They copied Apple with the Siri thing, and now they are saying Apple copied them by making a bigger screen… xD
Yeah, it's wrong to be dissing Apple like that, but I think Samsung is just angry. I mean, Apple sued Samsung for 1 billion dollars because they "copied" their round edges. C'mon, what phone doesn't have round edges, other than Nokia?
And it's pretty obvious that apple copied the big screen that Samsung thought of. I have a Galaxy Note 2-it's the phone with the big screen that Samsung designed years ago. And ever since the new iPhone 6 plus came out, people have kept asking me if my phone was the new iPhone.

There's a video of a guy doing the phone "bend test" on the new iPhone 6+ and it got bent very easily...

Zup?
Today I felt like sharing some paradoxes.
Question: If Pinocchio says, "My nose will grow right now," what will happen?
Question: If everything is possible, is it possible for something to be impossible?
Question: Is it possible to give what we don't have?
Question: There is a bullet which can shoot through any barrier. There is also an absolutely bullet-proof armor which no object can penetrate. What will happen if such a bullet hits such an armor?
Question: In a village, the barber shaves everyone who does not shave himself/herself, but no one else. Who shaves the barber?
Question: Can a man drown in the fountain of eternal life?
Question: Your mission is not to accept the mission. Do you accept?
Try to answer these riddles. Some of them might not even have a solid answer (so be creative). No cheating or searching for it online! And maybe share some other paradoxes if you know any?

I honestly think that Apple is running out of ideas. All they've been doing is making the phone faster, thinner, and making the screen size bigger. There's never any cool new features.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and when the iPhone 6 came out, "WHAAA?!!?" Seriously... they look identical. And Apple sued Samsung for "copying" their round little corners.
Seriously, Apple needs to take some more time into coming up with the "next big thing." Like, no kidding, it's literally becoming a bigger phone every time another one comes out.
But I mean something really different, efficient, and awesome, not just keep releasing phone after phone so people keep buying new ones which are no different.
Sorry, rant got serious.

The amount of friends you have doesn't matter-how close you are with them is what matters make those two friends the most special and memorable ones.
And honestly, don't even pay attention to what your classmates say about your feet. I mean, seriously- they're 13-14 years old and they are insulting you about your foot size; that's downright lame. It's them that have a problem, not you.
And to answer your question, no, your foot size is not average for your age. So what? Feet are feet, no big deal.
Don't let bullies make you feel bad about "imperfections."

My response to suicide
•
17th August 2014, 03:17 AM
People who are depressed have very very different lives compared to happy people. While it may be so easy for normal people to be happy, it's extremely difficult for the depressed. "Just be happy" can't be done with a snap of your fingers. I think that a lot of people commit suicide because they've been hurt or broken so often that they feel like they're not meant to have hope. They'd rather be sad and stay that way than to be happy for awhile and suddenly have their hopes all crushed and ruined. That's why so many people end up going into depression after a break-up; when they meet a new person who cares about them, it's like their life is all sorted out and happy, but when the relationship ends, it's like that building of happiness that was being built up in their life was suddenly demolished.
It's like their building of happiness is crushed after building after crushing...etc. Then they think it's pointless to keep trying to build up to have a better life. So when they lose faith, they feel like they've lost everything. But that's not true. Getting out of depression is extremely difficult, and therapy doesn't help many people because considering the amount of times they were devastated throughout their life, it takes lots and lots of time to actually listen to the therapist. But it's still possible-it's up to the person to decide if they will be brave enough to try building their life up again. Drugs, alcohol, suicide are not ways to end pain, people will remember. Other people will be in pain. If anyone reading this is/feels sad, think of it this way; what if dying does not end the pain? What if there's more after life on Earth? Worse things? What if you're in way more pain when you turn into a ghost? Then you can't die again, either because you'd be dead already. Idk why I got so weird and deep. This is just what I think. agergkgm.

Read all your replies. Thanks! And just to clarify, I didn't write this directly talking about certain people. This was definitely NOT meant to offend Jaycee or others in any way, as some of you were concerned. It's just something I wanted to say. I hope this didn't hurt anybody's feelings.

This is a serious topic that I want to talk about and share with you. It's about all the suicidal posts. Whether or not people are faking it, it breaks my heart to see so many people talking about self harm. This place is not an online, psychotherapy site, despite many friendly people that talk to you here, it's not going to drastically change your life. Writing depressing remarks on this forum not only affects you but to everyone else who sees the posts. The depression posts are increasing so much here, I'm starting to notice a lot of little kids saying their depressed, but they don't even know or understand what it is. The kids are almost encouraging themselves to be/act depressed and be all deep and poetic, and it's actually going to affect their real life. They are learning about very wretched things here, and it makes them more curious. That's really sad. I sure don't want little kids to read about stabbing, taking pills, or self harming. Don't blame them for coming to this website and even bothering to read it; you are the ones who posted it for everyone to see. People didn't come here to read these things. I'm not saying no one cares about you, we do, but it affects people's good moods. I would like to help make you feel better, but it's hard when our only way of keeping in touch is here on this website...It's best not to write about depression here. We can't help you a lot, and it could get worse - people might start thrashing at you.
Also, please don't say no one understands you, because a lot of people do go through a lot - some are too focused and sad about their own life to realize they are not alone. And some people hide their feelings more than others. I've seen people at school who are always super happy at school, and I had no idea their life was a nightmare at home. I've accidentally noticed "stuff" on their skin that were awful. I've had friends telling me all about their life, and how no one seems to get it, but I did, and others did, because we all felt the same, but we were the types of people who did not speak much about it. It all seems to connect. Sorry if this story has gone too far, but it's an example. I feel like a hypocrite for saying this.
So basically, don't hide the pain you're going through, find help from someone, but also don't reveal your pain to everyone. And by everyone, it also includes people who you don't know or can't trust, which are some people here. I actually think that posting suicidal thoughts should not be permitted on this forum. It's probably for the best. That's pretty much all I have to say about this. If you have any disagreements with what I wrote, or if you just want to tell me your opinions, feel free to leave a reply. No h8, no tr0lls.
And I encourage everyone to be strong. It will start to clear up after puberty. Not just acne, but your life.
