The reason why I PMed you was to avoid drama. Yeah, and you forgot to put up what you said but hey, it doesn't really matter.

This whole, "old moderators shouldn't be repromoted," thing is all about perspective. We need to take account of everyone's feelings, not just the higher ranked users'. I understand Bailey and Ellie might feel a bit upset over some things specific users have said, but do keep in mind that most users only say things like that because they're upset, too. A lot of people are working hard to earn moderator and it doesn't seem fair when people are promoted simply for earning moderator in the past and wishing their rank back.
Maybe things get a bit overwhelming or maybe some moderators just get bored of their rank, but that's something you need to fight through, not ditch and return when the rank seems appealing again. I understand the whole concept of wanting committed moderators in this situation and I completely agree.
Regardless, Bailey and Ellie are good moderators and they should stay. I just feel like they're not seeing opinions the way they should. No one is against them, they're against repromotion and are recommending to not take action like that in the future.
On another note, I'd love to see some fresh, new usernames below the game. That doesn't mean we need to rid the old ones.

I understand where you're coming from but this whole post has witnesses of users saying stuff to Ellie and Bailey. In fact, both Ellie and Bailey are witnesses. And I don't think this post was really about Ellie and Bailey I think it was more based on the fact that they deserved it in general. I'm just saying that re promotion or not, these two earned it and earned it well. I think Sofie made a great choice by choosing them. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Their promotions didn't just revolve around them earning moderator in the past though, I believe Ellie made an application and Bailey was promoted to Imperial Knight, so that could of as well contributed to their promotions.

Welcome
This has come from the heart, every aspect of it.
We look at ourselves and point out every imperfection possible. We look at our friends and groan about how flawless they are or how nice they are. They look at us the same way we look at them. Beauty is a soul deep substance. It makes us pure and well accomplished, or so we think. You see, beauty is unobtainable. To us it's like seeing a mythical creature. We never find it.... But we do imagine it. Our satisfaction comes from our appearance but not our personality. You try and try to be the best, yet, you say it's not enough. Let it be said that we're all beautiful. Your size is not a factor of beauty, your height is not a factor of beauty, but your intelligence and courage is. How you proceed to handle situations shows your beauty. As does letting your personality shine through. We want what's best, yet we hide what's best. We take away our actual characteristics and substitute them with fake ones. We demolish the beauty within. We fill our heads with nonsense and rubbish. 'You're not good enough' 'You're ugly'. No, there is no such word as ugly. But there is an attitude of ugly. Never let ugly attitudes turn your attitude ugly as well. Have a beautiful attitude and carry one. At the end of the day, it's you who possesses the true and pure beauty.
Thanks

True,
I came here by accident and look what I've gotten. Friends, experience, and fun. It's not about the ranks nor is it about yourself. It's about the people around you

Well what are moderators supposed to do? If they feel you're disrespecting them don't they have a right to say something? I thought you were all for freedom of speech. Plus many think it's fine to disrespect a staff member, but heavens no! Don't disrespect a member!!!! We're all equal and pure.
Freedom of Speech was the reason he made this post. And what if some of us live in countries without that freedom?

Yes!
I've seen users complain about Ellie and Bailey but what they don't try to do is look at it from their perspective. They've been promoted to mod, they should be congratulated! It's sad seeing a newly promoted mod all droopy because of some petty hate. I am really frustrated because I've been in their position. Every one hated me when I was first mod because I earned it within three months instead of five months. It's all jealousy really, you see, all they want to do is make them feel bad. Sometimes even guilty for regaining moderator, but what really bothers me is that those moderators are blamed for their promotion. News flash, administrators pick them. They don't pick to be a moderator, and they sure as hell don't want to be hated for it. So stop what you're doing and think. Great post, Sofie. It's amazing how disrespectful some users are. But what can I say? I mean, it's obviously a custom here.

I understand what you mean but it really doesn't effect you one way or another. Same goes for the rest of the community. If they choose to leave the staff then by all means let them. But there are times where people need a break, whereas I was one of them. Now, I did say 'I wish I was a normal user' but now I realize everyone is the same. Moderator is a bit too glorifed and I just felt like I needed some time to think about what I want or what I thought was best for me. You have every right to speak your opinion, and I will always respect that no matter the person. I just feel like this should be between the user and their position. Quite frankly, most of the moderstors who resigned had a life to live and places to be. I believe there are only 3 moderators who have retired and are still around. I may be wrong but that's ok. Thank you for this post, Salsa.

Last year I kept hearing that quote in school, it is actually written by former president Franklin Roosevelt I do believe. I believe the quote is very well written but so simple, this discussion was spot on.

And he doesn't need our drama or ignorance. Nobody just tries respecting him. Maybe he'd do the same if he felt like a majority of us love him. But everyone treats him like crap. He probably feels like nobody's there for him.

Welcome to this topic of 'Pain' specifically in the Wisdom section.
One man once said 'there is nothing to fear but fear itself' this is why I'm here to tell you what pain really is. Pain is not something you can grasp, it's inside us. Everywhere we go, pain. Yet this pain is nothing compared to reality. Why not enjoy the time on your computer? You get to hang out with your buddies and virtual families. Instead of bickering or pouting, get up. Pain does not come from a computer screen, it comes from losses. Yes, a virtual penguin might die but yet, that's not real. You must not cry for this, but cry for reality. For reality is one thing you must face for real.
Fear the fact of being fearful rather than some cyber bullies! You can get away from those guys, but you can't get away from reality. We try so hard to make ourselves look very tough and bold, but yet we fail most of the time because we can't handle reality. We all face pain, we even look it straight in the eyes. It may even feel like a kick in the gut, but you can't have that feeling from behind a computer staring at a screen.
Thank you
