Goodbye, DSGHQ

It's been 2 years. 2 crazy years. God has so much happened, the community has grown, Damen changed the DSGHQ so much, and I loved being there to see that.
I've been trying to write this message for about a month. It's been so long since I started this, So I'll go off what I wanted to say.
I'm a nobody. I don't exist. I try, I really do, but over and over I find myself alone with no one to talk to, no one that cares. It's pretty sad, honestly. No more than 10 people in this community truly know who I am, or even care that I exist. You might have heard this all before. The sad sob story of a kid on the community that no one pays attention to, the kid crying for attention, If you've been on the forums for at least a year, or maybe even 6 months you would know how the story goes. The kid comes back after a week or so, never leaves again. That's not me.
My little sob story is actually true. Unlike those people, I actually have no one to talk to. I try, but over and over I get nothing. I'm starting to wonder why I even bothered staying.
Once upon a time, I had friends. The DSGHQ was life, and it was all I cared about, when I was 14. Two years pass and I'm 16, tired of the community. It's grown into a home for kids, which there is no problem with, but I just don't mix with them. I've gotten to a point where I want to grow up and leave the childish things pulling me down. And here I am, talking to you now.
Ranks are near impossible for me at this point. No one my age is willing to talk to me, and I just don't mix with 3/4th of the community. These are reasons alone.
2 god damn years. Can't believe I made it this far. I stepped into the DSGHQ looking to be the next big thing, the all around loved moderator that wanted to change everything. It started with a large snowball rolling down a hill, but instead of growing in size, the snow ball melted. It lost it's snow, and at the end of the hill it was nothing but a puddle.
I'm leaving for good. I will not return, my intentions are not there. Like most abandoned accounts, I would like mine to stay active for people to see the "legend" I tried and wanted to be. This is the last post I will be making, and I tried to make it the most sincere and most open hearted as any of my other posts.
I won't be missed, let alone remembered. I will leave no legacy, nothing for others to go by. I meant nothing and will continue to mean nothing as the community grows and evolves. I'll just be another dead account.
Until the sun sets on a day without the DSGHQ, I'll support it, but never again be a member of it.

Hello my dudes, Pj here.
If you haven't been to the shop for a while, Damen has implemented a new addon, this being the ability to change your profile picture to a gif.
Here's the problem. THIS COSTS 1000 GOLD TO DO SOMETHING YOU WERE ABLE TO DO FOR FREE.
Damen, with all due respect this has to be one of the worst decisions you've made, possibly the first. I mean, charging to change your profile picture to a gif would be fair and acceptable, for a lower price and at the beginning of the forums.
If this was back then, in the dawn of the forums, this would be fine. But deciding to flip this on us all the sudden is just unfair.
ANOTHER pointless shop item is the Quiet addon, which mutes profile music when you visit a profile.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MUTE YOUR SPEAKERS. FOR A PRICE OF 1000 GOLD, THIS IS DOWNRIGHT INSANE.

1.Just make your title shorter. It doesn't need to be long.

3.Before this, the max of characters was 30. This was changed recently to 25. HE'S BASICALLY FORCING YOU TO BUY IT IF YOU WANT A DECENT TITLE.

Hey guys, Feared here.
Not gonna lie, this community is run by one single thing. One thing decides ranks, gold, everything. It's not even funny. My opinion, I think we change it up a little bit.
Maybe decide ranks on experience and applications. Think about it, when was the last person signed on to rank because he or she made a good application? Sure, higher ups will read them, but will do nothing about it.
As for currency, there should be a system that gives users a small amount of gold every time they log on. I get how you need to post and level up to earn it, but if people earned it everyday, there would be less need for big events like gold comps. Everything needs to be decided by luck, not skill, according to the comps.
You may be the most creative person in the world, do a mod comp task perfectly, and still loose. Let's not mention some people can't join OldCp because it LAGS AN ASSLOAD. Even with speed mode on, the game will still not run properly, and that's a problem for some, me included. I basically can't participate because my computer isn't good enough. Thanks Damen.
That aside, I just want to see change in this community. Every contribution I've sent in hasn't impacted the site in any way, and that saddens me. I really want this forum to grow and expand, but that's not going to happen if big changes are introduced.

According to Damen's rules, in order for this to be official and not to get banned, you must message him (via PM) telling him who you're marrying. If he decides, you can go on with the wedding officially with his blessing, and not receive any consequence.

This is a fanfiction. People write whatever they want with whatever characters they want. Whether the fanfiction stays true to the series is up to the author. I hate to say this but I've never seen such an ignorant post like this ever in my life.
