Personality: Aiden is rather quirky, funny, caring, and outgoing. He's willing to put it all on the line for others, even if it costs him his life. He is incredibly loyal and brave.

Backstory: Aiden lived in new york until the age of 3. He moved to california, all the way across the county, to become a lightning mage like his father, Kent. At the age of 10, Aiden began learning lightning magic. By the age of 15, he was an A-Rank lightning mage and joined the society of the lightning mages. Today, he fights as a bounty hunter in the BHA (bounty hunter association), helping the innocent hidden world members survive in a world ridden with creatures and powerful beings.

Welcome one, welcome all, to DSGHQ's very first role play. Here is the description.

We live in a seemingly normal world. We've come up with extraordinary powers and creatures, considering them entertainment and fairy tales. But what if all of that really did exist? It does. Concealed from the eyes of the normals, there exists a hidden part to this world, a missing puzzle piece. This is known as the Hidden World. Everything in books, stories, shows, they exist, in hiding from the normal world. People live in this world with powers beyond belief, monsters and beasts of mythology roam, weapons and magic relics wait to be claimed. There is a side to this world you never knew about until now. This post is the portal to it.


To join the Hidden World, make a post below with your own character. Limited number of characters allowed. First come, first serve. Character will be approved before admitted into game.

RULES (PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CREATING CHARACTER)
-Make your character descriptive. Nothing bland or typical. Get creative and go into as much detail as possible. If possible, provide a picture. The more I know about your character, the better I'll be able to write about them.

-Powers, abilities, weapons, all mentioned must not be over powered. Everyone is vulnerable to death, remember that. If you're invincible, it's not as fun. Make your character balanced. Unbalanced characters will not be accepted.

-Don't plagiarize. If you're modeling a character after one from a tv show or anime, don't make them a complete copy. Borrow some elements from them, but not every small little detail and just change the name. Characters like this will not be accepted.

-More rules as they come in.

How roleplays work
If this is your first time roleplaying, read this.

A roleplay on a forum works by the GM (game master, Me) posting a cast call. Once enough characters enter, the game begins. The GM creates the beginning of the story, sets the scene, introduces characters ETC. From there, when a certain character is bolded at the bottom of the GM's post, it means it's their turn to write.

The creator of that character then writes through their character's eyes and interacts with other characters, explore their surroundings, chats with npc's (Non playable characters), or just pass their turn on. If you are selected but don't want to go, simply reply to the post with a simple "PASS". After the writer is done with their turn, they write the name of another character in BOLD at the very bottom. The creator of that character must reply with their interactions. Do everything you want and need to do during your turn, because it might take a while to get it again.

The GM can end the scene at any time, and create a new one, even before someone's turn. If a new scene is created before you get a turn, you get the first turn in the new scene.

If you wish to speak out of character at any time, simply reply to the most current post by putting "OOG" in bold before your message. OOG stands for "out of game".

I just came up with a terrific idea for a new game for DSGHQ.

The game is called OldCp RPG. Players create a penguin, and enter a Medieval version of OldCp. Players can level up, craft items, and even form clans, Guilds, Raid Parties ETC.

Players fight in dungeons, each containing Blackhawks or ice ghosts as the enemies. At the end of each dungeon is a Boss, which will drop tons of money and loot upon defeat.

Players can also participate in PVP arenas, Monster Hunting, and even mining. There is so much opportunity here.

Please, leave your responses and other opinions below. I'd love to hear your feedback. If you enjoy the idea, leaving a like always helps, especially when you're trying to level.

The world never seemed capable of such an event. Our earth was going into destruction. Everything that ever existed was fading slowly, into a darkened abyss. The only way of preventing this...was with one machine, one press of a button, and one man. It sounds like a typical time travel story, but I assure you, it's a story you'll remember for a long time. My name is Jackson, and I'm a Guardian.

In the future, terrorists known as rogue timejumpers are going back in time to kill the leaders of the new world, the people who are supposed to save us from the impeding apocalypse. They succeeded once, on a different timeline. This is supposedly our final timeline, therefore our final chance to prevent the deaths of the future game changers. Skilled warriors trained in the art of protection and killing have traveled back to the past, all assigned a future changer.Being one of them, I was assigned the biggest one of all, Carter Flint. He is the one who disables a rocket which causes new york city to fall. If new york falls, the rest of the world and the timeline does too, because the only time machine is located there.

The story begins at his 20th birthday, the day his life changed forever, and the world began to fall.

Author's Note- Hello and welcome to the very first entry in the RHG series. When I was 7, I came up with a cool idea for a bunch of stick figures fighting each other with crazy powers and weapons. It wasn't until I was 12 I expanded upon that Idea. Years later, I decided to pick it back up, add some good storyline, cool characters, and make it appealing to the younger audiences here on the DSGHQ. This was based on a web series of stick animations, also titled RHG. If you like shounen anime, or even just action and intricate plot lines, then I have a feeling you'll like my new show, RHG: Rock Hard Gladiators. Here is the very beginning of RHG, and how it came to be. Enjoy!


10 years ago, Horus Capital Buildings

"Are you sure about this, Alfa?" Chuck questioned as he stared over at me.

"More sure then I'll ever be" I reply. I stare up at the colossal building before me, trembling with excitement and subtle fear. I had no idea what was going to happen the second I bought this building, but I knew a legacy was going to be made.

"So once you buy the building, what are we going to name ourselves?" Chuck questions.

"How about...Stingers?" I suggest.

"Dude, were not five year olds. Come up with something...cool" Chuck replies with heavy attitude in his tone.

"Gladiators!" I say.

"That's what we are, not a name for what were thinking of" Chuck shoots back.

I think for a moment. What would make us fearful? what would strike fear into the hearts of others when they hear our name? I need some thing...Rock hard. Impenetrable. To show how powerful we are....Then it hits me.

"Rock Hard Gladiators" I mutter. Chuck thinks for a moment. He nods in agreement, giving a grin. That was it. Didn't take us too long. We found a name for ourselves...The Rock Hard Gladiators. This was going to be interesting.

That was 10 years ago.

My name is Alfa, and I am the proud leader of the Rock Hard Gladiators. We're a clan that formed 10 years ago, making our clan 10 generations. At the time, I was only 15, and Chuck was my only friend. Now, I live alongside people just as powerful as me. I think of them as brothers, in a way.

There's a lot of explaining to do, so I'll get to it quickly.

about 40 years ago, a meteorite fell to earth, creating a massive catastrophe. In what seemed like an apocalypse got worse. The globe was in shatters, and the population was low. This meteorite inhabited great powers, and those who were in the blast radius did not die, but instead gained powers beyond their wildest dreams.

In an attempt to rebuild our world, the world was reconstructed, only to be torn down again by a bandit clan known as Black Flag. They stole the meteorite which was being studied in a local research center. These now power driven people used their abilities to steal and take the power from the meteorite. This resulted in a war, and those who participated were known as Gladiators.

Now a days, there are only 5,000 known gladiators in existence, and Chuck, the clan and I are one of them. We didn't fight in the war, but we are descendants of those who did, and therefore we were passed down their weapons and abilities. Our clan's purpose is to protect the weak and the city from the black clans, which are worshipers of the great bandit clan Black Flag.

They do petty crimes but have tremendous amounts of power. Once we take the threat down, we get paid. More like bounty hunter work if you ask me. Other than that, life is good, and after 10 years, I'm ready to go 10 more. Welcome to the RHG.
