Hello, welcome to OldCp. The game's like 6 years old so the lore is extensive. Uh I would suggest just like exploring a lot and asking users ingame about lots of questions. For this gates question, there is something behind it, /jr goldcityentrance which could be accessed by typing that into the chat. Lastly, when you said you want to immerse yourself, idk if that means like by in the community or in cz (lore) in cz just when cz characters are on (you'll know by them getting crowded) you try and interact with them, becoming a fighting rank, or wizard, or in general a rank could do it too. Some choose to go evil (but I wouldn't recommend it). In the community, just be active on the forums and games, try and get a rank as stated before and go to events.
