I have just tested the team changes on the server, and it seems to be working perfectly fine for my account. Perhaps you typed the command incorrectly, either that or the screen/server may be glitching for you in particular.
In addition, are you logged onto the server of White Out? If not, that would be the problem, as the game was relocated to be on a different server for OldCP V10.
Yet if all info is the same as the above, try the following solution suggestions:
- Use the command of
multiple times with different names
- Attempt to relogin to the server (as it may be a small data issue)
- Close the browser and reopen once more
- Attempt to create your own team and join it
Creating a team command:
Hopefully one of the recommendations will resolve the issue properly. However, if they do not work, my best advice would be to likely wait a while and retry later tonight or possibly in the morning.
Though, I do think that at least one of these will crack the case.

Save Snaildom
•
4th January 2015, 06:55 PM
Although it has only been up for nearly over 3 months, Snaildom has honestly grown so much from its release date. Personally, I do not believe OldCP should be taking over the majority of the population within the DSGHQ's gaming, even though it may seem better to some. Both games still have a tremendous amount in store, and likely will grow throughout their ages (if they do stay), so none should be favored over another. From my perspective on the game, Snaildom was built to be aimed more originally towards users than the previous multiplayer games of the HQ, and likely has a larger chance in entertaining more members than OldCP does - especially to younger users who enjoy experimenting. Being a part of both games would make them have an equal chance at staying on the web, and could help add on its total in members.
All there is left to say is that I believe Damen should be taking the lead on this, whether it be keeping it or leaving it. I can understand he does not want to, and neither do most of the players here. Yet I know he will make a wise decision with time, and which is more beneficial in keeping the population steady.

Final Stage - Game Of Mods
•

Game of Mods - Stage 3 "The Finals"
Just a short while ago, it was the beginning of the final stage in the Game Of Mods, also known as the seasonal Moderator Competition. Each user that competed in the starting stages were nervously awaiting the appearance of Emperor Damen, whilst they were wondering if they had what it takes to become the next new staff member of one of the DSGHQ's most ultimate online games.
Eventually when the host entered the office for the final stage, he had granted 10 strong and wise users to compete for the rank of Moderator. The finalists were selected, and the harsh, fierce, and tough competition's finals began.
User finalist list:
- Audrey
- May23
- Key123
- DanceBear
- Freddy
- CoolLloyd
- Saber574
- PinkHearts
- IndigoPalace
- Rasberry
- Amandapink30 (Chosen in case a certain finalist could not attend)
TASK 1:
Task 1 was to pair up, both Finalist and Moderator, and head to an empty, silent location for an interview to be given to the competitor by the staff member. After the full quiz was presented to the user, each member involved would head to the /office to briefly summarize what happened with each team.
Review: Every finalist did well from what the rulers stated, so they were all complemented on their work by the Emperor. Then the Stage continues with the next task holding another surprise.
TASK 2:
Task 2's instructions were to create a unique sportswear brand and design it with apparel used from the ClubPenguin items. Each finalist was allowed to gather a few non-competing users from the audience or in the room to help them gather their presentation. However, only the finalists were allowed to pitch their idea to the staff once ready.
Review: Most finalists did especially well on this particular task. Although, some did not set the margins for their manufacturing cost and retail price correctly to make a profit within the competition, which resulted in causing a bit of troubled confusion for the judges. Yet all went well other than a few minor mistakes, and the Game Of Mods continued with Task 3.
TASK 3:
The job given to the finalists in Task 3 was to create a short, yet funny trailer for the next episode of a popular show originally from the DSGHQ labeled as 'Drama Llama'. The users competing were told that they would be judged individually on how they handle their position in the quick film, and what they did while the task went on. After practicing their lines and scripts, there would be a live show taking place at the Lighthouse with the judges watching their ideas as planned.
Review: As the audience was viewing the scene, many seemed to enjoy it, as did the staff as well. Most of everyone upheld a positive remark from those who watched, and were thrilled while waiting for the next task's guide to be announced.
TASK 4:
Task 4's instructions were to create and come up with a smart, and well-designed application for the rank of Moderator. Each finalist was to work independently and after the amount of 5 minutes, would present their application within a short minute to the judges. Reasoning, explanations, and skill were key in this certain assignment, and in which was what the competitors were planning on doing in their precious amount of time while working towards impressing the staff team.
Review: Overall, each user still standing in the competition finals used a tremendous amount of effort when battling over winning not only the task, but also the rank of Moderator. Most of everyone did very well, however some may of gotten a bit off track wasting a large portion of their time on intros instead of a quick brief explanation as to their desires.
TASK 5:
The last task of the Winter Game Of Mods Competition was an assignment that required teamwork, likely one that everyone enjoyed participating in. The guide for the last job of the night was to run the Pizza Parlor located in the Plaza with a manager, waiters/waitresses, delivery workers, and other important positions that were needed to be given to finalists to fully win the season's competition. Over a series of time, the competitors were given a title for working at the Pizza Parlor, and were serving the users that wanted to take part in the fun, yet heart racing final stage.
Review: Once the last task was finished, most of everyone was satisfied with the workers' service as for the competition. The users returned to the office, while the finalists were questioned on what they did for the portion of time they were working, and how they handled pleasing the members of OldCP.
The Suspense:
During the last few moments of the Winter 2014 Game Of Mods, every competitor lined up just below the Emperor in the /office. The audience was eager to find out who won the competition this season, knowing that only one could take it all. The Emperor was interested in promoting several members over the weeks. However, the Moderator Competition had a limit to only one 1st place winner, and that user chosen was Dancebear. A member of our own that we have seen improve, work for the win, and succeed above all of our expectations. She was pleased as she was promoted to moderator once more, and was glad to be a part of the friendly staff team helping users both night and day.
We all are looking forward to hearing more from the news given to us during the Winter GOM. Yet for now, the winner has been chosen until the next community competition takes place where a new member wins the rank of Moderator every single time.
FINAL RESULTS:
- Winter Game Of Mods Team Winner: Freehawks
- Winter Game Of Mods Independent Winner: DanceBear

Perhaps you could have an interesting name, including a favorite hobby of yours. There are not many ideas I have in mind for a particular unique and different display name. However, a thought that just appears to be in mind at the moment would be "Leedle the Needle" as it rhymes and is creative somewhat. There are many great ideas for a new, fresh nickname. Yet I would likely say one of the ones suggested above already would be perfect.

No Snowballs?

Simply click the "Edit Account Button" (similar to a large '?' icon) near the right hand corner of your screen. Click the button labeled as "Change Snowball". Then you may choose a different object to throw when you originally are throwing a snowball. It does not cost any gold or money, as it is free for all players no matter the rank or coins spent.
When you believe it is time to edit your snowball once more, follow the steps in order and your snowball object will switch to the item of your choice.

Giving Thanks - Christmas
•
20th December 2014, 01:41 PM
Happy Holidays!
Christmas is simply one of those holiday times that everyone personally enjoys, when there are many decorations, lights, and festive activities going around in the winter. The holiday spirit surrounds each member of a community, as they all gather around singing carols and looking at displays throughout a neighborhood. Everyone joins together with their family and friends celebrating for what they have to look forward to in life, while each fear and scar floats away in the midst of the cheering. It is a certain time of year that most of anyone will find exciting, as there is always something special for a special someone to treasure along the way. It is likely the most joyful day out of all 365 days of the year, especially due to the fact that it is the time where everyone is enjoying theirself, if not for the first moment in a long while.
What I am Thankful For:
-To start the celebration of this heart warming season, I would adore sharing a few of the reasons I find worth living for, and what I admire most about our own community's structure.-
To be completely honest with my perspective on the DSGHQ, it is one of the most interesting of all websites I have visited in both the past and present. I am grateful for having such a wonderful experience here, and meeting so many extravagant users. However, one thing that definitely stands out within the community is the positivity I see traveling around in the air each moment of everyday. It amazes me how players can progress throughout their time here, while they also lend a hand in helping others do the same at once. It is quite funny watching myself transform from what I previously was toward the DSGHQ, into who I appear to be pictured as now. Achieving several great goals, and not only learning much more about how the society works, but also how true friendship and determination works. I am highly thankful to have done all that I have in such a short period of time, even though there are many more fantastic users here. Though I am simply grateful for what I already have, and what I have already accomplished within the DSGHQ, as I still know that there is much more to come.
Now I could continue this section with names, acknowledgement, and several other facts about myself, but that would make this quite long and perhaps too long, so let us move on to the closing.
What are you Thankful For?:
To end this rather short, but informational discussion of mine, I would enjoy knowing what you are thankful for in this community and what you picture the HQ as or what it will become in the near future. There are countless features that most of everyone would state. Yet I would just enjoy knowing a few of your favorites, including any type of thing you obtained or a short story about a magnificent experience that has taken place here.
Lastly, I thank you for not only going through this discussion, but for being a sensational member here on the DSGHQ, as it means quite a lot to me that you have decided to take out the time to fully read this post and join the DSGHQ for the holidays.
(Note: This discussion was not meant to insult/offend any religions or holiday traditions)

Many thanks, LiveToDance

Life may be complicated dear, but it is simply a matter if you look past those type of moments.
I can understand how you may feel, as most of everyone has had certain times similar. However, you must picture what you already have as something worth living for. Times may be difficult at points, though the true struggle is not comprehending what you have the ability to look forward to.
Emotions are a fraction of life, whether it be you feel them or ignore them. As you stated above, "friends are nothing...", which I know you do not believe is true. Having someone who cares is one of the strongest things you can obtain in this world, and most of everyone has yet to accomplish that goal.
Think of life as a journey. There may be bumps along the way. Yet to get to your destination, you must avoid those turns in order to conquer your fears. Being afraid of what seems like everything is nothing compared to being afraid of living.
Picture this as something to learn from. You have many wonderful things to get ready for in the near future. Though, staying behind and becoming your own terror is something that holds you back from realizing what you're honestly missing.

You are quite the user as I may say, as you have progressed throughout the time you have already spent here. Each and every day, I can see you improving just a bit more for the better, and honestly, you are one of the most interesting of all people among this universe. I can tell you really do mean each word you state, and there simply are no exact words to describe how touching you are. I can understand your feelings towards this community, because it truly does change your perspective on life and your capabilities. However, not that you don't change the world's perspective on life and its own capabilities.
The DSGHQ seriously has a unique way of reaching out to others, and from experience, I can realize that the users here have much to teach each other on the great journey of life. No matter what happens along the way, each user within the HQ has done a wonderful job lending a hand to anyone and everyone, as there really are no boundaries for what you can do and learn in this community.
I personally thank you for creating this discussion, due to the fact that the meaning is highly appreciated by many, and may there be several more thrilling memories awaiting in the future for you my friend.

I thank all the heroic users who had saved the Empire in defeat, and as for Glarthir, it was rather stunning to me to hear that he sacrificed his life for all those already dead. I can tell that the past moments of this war wasn't easy, but our three heroes have officially beaten one of the worst enemies to come. There were many, many events happening during this battle, yet none as mind blowing than what the team who finished the victory had done. I am proud to hear that the Empire is officially back to how it came to be, and hopefully this will bring several more memories to come! Though as for now, there is nothing left to say but, LONG LIVE OUR CHAMPIONS!

Hello Lpsrules01,
I am glad to hear that you have returned to OldCP, as it has just arrived once again. Hopefully you will create many more fond memories on the game, like several players had long before.
I can see you're rather new to the Forum community as well, so I would highly recommend running through the Rules and Tutorial if you have not already. (Can be located at the top and bottom of the Home Page)
In addition, I am not completely positive if you have heard of Snaildom, also a game created for the DamenSpike Gaming HQ. Yet, it is a website that released not very long ago that I personally believe you may enjoy (available at Snaildom.com), along with the Old ClubPenguin site.
If you have any questions about the DSGHQ or perhaps how to navigate its tools, please feel free to ask one of the staff members or users, as I am sure that anyone will be more than glad to lend a hand to a terrific new member like you.
Have a wonderful stay,
LiveToDance

The Big update discussion

To begin with my comment, I would enjoy congratulating you on becoming a staff member, as I can see you must be very trustworthy towards others to have become a Moderator this early. So well done on that task, and I wish you the best of luck with your journey in the HQ. -- Now let us begin with a few of my thoughts.
First of all, perhaps you could have a variety of characters to choose from in the next project. Including several of the creatures that players would enjoy seeing such as seals, tigers, lions, or sheep. Possibly along with zoo or farm themed locations. Each character could include their own unique movements, and items specifically fit for your own role. Though it does seem a bit complicated to animate, I believe it would be able to work nicely, if and only if it is designed properly.
My suggestion for an online game structure would likely have RP positions, where users can select what they wish to pose as. Yet something more easier to program would be a one character based game if you were able to find an individual animal which is most popular with those who would fully play the virtual world.
I do not have much more detail to support my recommendations, however I think that with a little work, many of the ideas above could be combined into an excellent place for users to play on daily.

This discussion is nothing less than what it should be and nothing less than what it appears to be. Motivational. Looking at everyday life, you must realize that princesses and knights are not only ordinary people, but are also extraordinary people. Each independent person in this world is a warrior, an inspiration, and a ruler, as everyone has several important, pure, and special qualities that simply make the character itself. You may be strong, you may be tough, you may be powerful, and you may be gentle, though one thing I guarantee to see in everyone is individuality. From personally reading the comments and statements a member has to say, this community honestly has its own way of speaking to those around, and it will surely always have an impact.
