I do correct people, but I understand when they have made a small typo. All that matters is you understand the other person, but by correcting a person's spelling or grammatical mistake you also help them sometimes by teaching them what is right and what is wrong :)

I think I will go with reputation. It shows how trusted I am, and when people like my posts or dislike, it helps me a lot in learning whether what I say is right or wrong, and anyway, to get gold, you may also need reputation sometimes ;P
