Well, there are different houses that compete, and each house has one person that is competing to become a mod, Their house or team helps them complete challenges and what not. At the end, the team with the most points wins, and the person who is competing for the competition becomes a moderator.
Also, I see you are new here. Welcome!

Club Penguin War
•
10th October 2014, 10:37 PM
Long, long ago, in a place once known as Club Penguin, there lived two types of penguins. Preps/jocks, and the Hoodies. Now, these penguins NEVER got along. There was always arguments, disagreements, cat fights, and hate. Club Penguin was a huge disarray.
The Hoodies thought there was only one solution to the problem: war.
One day, the Hoodies all decided they had enough of all this nonsense. They all went to the Cove, where the preps and jocks were having a summer party, and the Hoodies declared war. The preps and jocks all agreed, and they, too, had enough of all the nonsense.
For the past three weeks, there was lots of fighting and violence. Preps used their girl power, jocks used their muscles, and the hoodies used their awesomeness.
Finally, after several weeks, the preps and jocks surrendered, not wanting to mess up their hair even more, and they were all tired and scared.
Now, the hoodies and preps made one agreement. The preps were able to stay on Club Penguin, but they only get to stay in the Stadium. So they did.
For months, they all dwelled at the Stadium, and were soon driven crazy by staying there for so long, that they were mistaking walls for lockers.
By this time, more penguins evolved. Pookies, forestians, weirdos, and normal penguins… Psshh…
Soon, the preps and jocks were able to move to a different place: Club Penguin University (CPU).
Even after several years, the hoodies and preps haven't made peace yet, but Club Penguin is much more peaceful then before.
The End.
Hope you enjoyed!

Even though I don't live in Texas or anything, I am so paranoid. Not just that I might get it, but I just think of the plague and if it spreads like a wildfire and everyone gets it and dies and the world ends...... I think I'm a bit too paranoid...

The Shadow Maze
•
9th October 2014, 07:11 PM
The cool night wind blew, the trees whooshing up in the sky. The foggy air was cold, and the forest was dark.
Saber, Jacks, Little, and Glimmer slithered along the grass, under the tall trees that stood over the big, dark, Shadow Wood. Not many people had come here. The only ones that came, never came back out.
"I don't know about this, guys…" Glimmer said, sounding worried. "This place is pretty dangerous, and dark!" She kept behind the others, shivering. "Oh, don't be such a scaredy cat. We're fine!"Jacks said eagerly, going around the tall trees. Glimmer rolled her eyes. "Easy for you to say! You were a knight!" Glimmer exclaimed, but quickly lowered her voice, afraid some kind of monster would hear her.
As they crept along, the night got colder, and the trees got thicker. The fog got stronger, and Glimmer got even more scared. "Maybe we should go back to the village. It is much safer there!" Glimmer said to the group, but they didn't listen. They were too exited to see the rest of the forest.
As they neared the middle of the forest, where it was so dark they could barely see, they all stopped. "Look over there." Little said, sounding fascinated. They all turned their heads to see two big stone walls next to each other. "The Shadow Maze." Little read a small sign near the entrance. "Awesome!"
Saber and Jacks followed Winter into the maze, with Glimmer at the rear. "Guys! This really isn't a good idea!" Glimmer shivered. Yet again, nobody listened. They were all too fascinated.
"Come on, guys! Over here." Saber said, rounding a corner. They were all now confined in the maze, with very skinny pathways. Once they entered, the giant door closed. The only way out of the maze is to complete it.
Once they rounded the corner, they ended up at a dead end. "Darn." Saber said. "I thought this way would bring us farther."
They all turned around, and kept going around the maze, trying to find the way out.
After what seemed like an hour, they were all exhausted, and getting bored. They felt like they would never find the way out.
Glimmer started to cry, of course, like she always does when she gets scared. Little, Jacks, and Saber tried to comfort her, which helped a bit. "You were right." Little said. "maybe we shouldn't have come here. This was dangerous. No wonder nobody ever makes their way out of here." By this time, everyone was feeling as frightened as Glimmer, feeling like there was no hope.
After a few minutes of sitting around, all huddled up, Saber got up and turned to them. Then, she said, "Are we seriously going to waste time just sitting around? No! We need to find a way out of here!" Everyone stared at her. "No matter how long it takes, how hungry or tired we get, we must find a way out of here. I don't want to die in this place." She shivered, looking around. Everyone agreed with Saber, and got up, following her through the tiny pathways of the maze.
Another hour passed, and they were even more tired then before, but they wouldn't give up hope. They would keep going.
Soon, they rounded a corner, which took them through a straight pathway, and another corner. There seemed to be no end. Then, they did make it to a dead end, but instead of just a stone wall, there were two doors. They had to choose.
"Which one do we pick..?" Asked Little. They all looked at each other. Jacks answered, "For some reason, I feel like its the door on the left." He paused, but then pushed the door open, everyone following.
It wasn't the correct door.
In the room they entered, there was a giant killer snail, with huge, sharp teeth, a giant shell with spikes all over it, and poisonous slime all over its body.
Little, Jacks, Saber, and Glimmer slithered away, as fast as their bodies could take them, trying to get out of the room. The door slowly started to close, and they went faster and faster until they reached the doorway. They slipped through it, barely getting crushed by the heavy door.
They raced into the door on the right, and ended up in a room full of gold, but they didn't bother to take any of it. They slithered, very quickly, through an open doorway, and out of the dark maze.
They all made their way to the market village, and finally stopped, breathing heavily. "Let's all agree NEVER to go back there again." Little said. Everyone nodded, and agreed.
"You know," Jacks said, after they all caught their breath. "that room at the end was full of gold."
Glimmer looked at him. "We almost died, and you're thinking about gold?" Jacks nodded. Everyone laughed. "Even if we did die, I was glad to be with my friends." Glimmer said, smiling.
Then, everyone headed off to bed, having nightmares during their slumber….
The End.

These are awesome ideas, Liv!
I LOVE the shells, and the games look awesome! I really like the sword fight idea. I love this!!!
Also, I think Wisp would make a good mod, and Cyberwolf would make a good admin.

That Awkward Moment When...
•
9th October 2014, 05:43 PM
That awkward moment when.....
You sit through an entire class period, then realize you are supposed to be in a class across the hall.
You try to speak to someone, but they don't hear you.
You say bye to someone, but walk in the same direction.
You're at your friend's house, and they have a family problem.
Someone is talking to you, but you don't hear them, so after saying "what?" three times, you just agree.
You want to say something, but then the subject changes.
You can't open the door, then someone has to help you realize the door is to pull, not push.
You say something out loud on accident.
You go to present a project, and get embarrassed when everyone else's projects look like they actually put time into them.
Try to join in on a conversation, but say the wrong thing.
You walk into the wrong room.
You do something that gets the teacher mad, so the teacher punishes the whole class, and everyone gets mad at you.
You keep talking loud even when loud music stops playing.
Someone takes a picture of you sleeping.
Your crush likes someone else.
When you say something is awkward, when it really isn't...
Awkwardness. If you have any other awkward situations that have happened to you, feel free to share them.
Hope you enjoyed!

I need help...

9th October 2014, 04:00 PM
Okay, so during free period at school, my best friend and I usually just hang around and talk or whatever.
A lot of the guys and some girls play sports during this time, such as football, soccer, and basketball. I really like sports, especially these ones, and I would love to play with them. I also like to feel sweaty, because I feel like I worked hard!
Now, my friend really isn't the sporty type, so she doesn't like playing sports, especially with all the guys, because they are really loud and tough.
Again, I really want to play, but I feel bad just leaving her alone to go do something else.
So, what should I do? Go play sports, but leave my friend, or not play, but have no fun?
