Hi everyone!
A lot happened this Spring. Tomorrow is the official first day of DSGHQ Summer so lets have a look at everything that happened during DSGHQ Spring!

The Spring Ball
Remember the first Ball Sofie hosted which was in Winter? Well she also wanted to do another one during DSGHQ Spring! It went great and everyone enjoyed it. I believe that during the end of it, Ellie got promoted back to Moderator as well. It was a great way to kick off spring.

Game of Mods Series 11
Yep. Remember GOM series 11? It was with the teams Wizards, Lecturers, Warriors, Wolfs, and Team Preps. After a fierce battle and eliminations, the top 10 users on the scoreboard were made finalists. Chex ended up having the most points in the end, and she won series 11. That was her second time winning!

Damen also decided to make a Mini Game of Mods for people in UK who couldn't make it to the Game of Mods. Music fearlessly lead his team KFC to the win of the first Mini Game of Mods. He and Chex were granted with the position of Moderator.

Warlord Competition Series 3
After 2 Warlord competitions in the past, Damen decided to hold yet another Warlord competition. With the contestants, Polo, The Stag, The Mountain, Matthew, and Cysero. They all fought hard and close to the end it was Matthew vs The Stag. The Stag surrendered and Matthew got warlord.

But after Matthew had a trial and, Matthew had to verse the stag again in a fight. The Stag won and took his position as Warlord.

Spring WCI
Users faced in a Soccer match and then a Snowball match. It was every man for themselves. DSC was crowned the victor and won WCI of Spring.

Chelsey's Coronation
Damen decided he wanted to make Chelsey Empress after Sofie got shot. So Damen had a Session and Chelsey was made Empress and she still is.

Snaildom Shuts Down
After a long time of no one playing Snaildom, Damen decided to shut it down. It was very sad news but no one can blame him. It was a so upsetting to many users and it barely lasted for 6 months.

Redemption
Damen invented Redemption a few days ago. He has a recent post on it and basically, 2 times in a year you can vote staff out and in.

*Alarm beeps* Noooo!! It's a Monday, time for school. I honestly, no wait, EVERYONE hates my school. It is so boring even the best students fall asleep. No lie. I haven't missed a single day thanks to my allergies not acting up this year. But last year, the best year ever, my allergies acted up nearly every 2 days.

I got up and got ready for school. I jumped on the bus with my best friend. Then we arrived at our Fabulous School...

Our teacher greeted me (Alison) and my best friend (Luciana) with a huge surprise. And the surprise wasn't good. "Alison, Luciana I need you in the hallway for a second." Our teacher Ms. Marble said.
"Oooooh, you guys are in troubleee." The class said. We ignored them.

"Alison, Luciana, the teacher of the gifted classes wanted you to join their class. Your parents agreed so you can make your way there now."

Death sentence.... that class is the worst. You stay there all year and learn about high school stuff because the teachers think it's fun and students in Grade 6 can handle it.

Luciana and I walked into the class. Mr. Morgan, the teacher said with a wicked smile. "How phenomenal of you guys to arrive just in the nick of time." Luciana groaned and took her seat. I sat beside her. That is where dying of boredom actually made sense.

Mr.Morgan yakked and yakked for hours. Literally all the students were asleep. "Okay students. Time to write a 10 page essay on what you learned about this topic. You have so much time to write it. 30 minutes. Isn't that great? Begin now."
Obviously we had to write it so we did. Then we went out for recess and came back in.

"Settle down students. Time to chose one of those 1000 page books and write a summary on them for homework. If you finish, go to the computer lab and play some educational games! Won't that be fun?"

How did I survive you may ask. Well, I didn't.

Working Hard in life is not very easy. You have to face challenges so that you can continue working. By working hard, I mean working in jobs, in sports, in school, etc. So, I will begin by talking about sports and school.

In school, we must always try to give it our best in our grades. Grades are really important. Let me explain why. Lets say you are in Grade 5 and you are preforming at a C+ average. If no one tells you to work hard, you will just continue passing Grade 5, then Grade 6, 7, and 8. But then in High School, you have to actually PASS the classes. In order to become "rich" for helping family or something, you need to have some knowledge to get employed for a job that helps you earn a lot of money. Anyways, what I am saying is that you need to give it your best and pay attention in class because if you don't, you will end up not learning what happened in your past grades which could become a MAJOR problem later like in High school. Doctors, Scientists, and people with jobs like those earn money because they payed attention in class and found a job that actually payed off all of that hard work.

Maybe people will start calling you a nerd because of your good grades, but ignore them because all the work you put into will pay off, while the so called "cool kids" won't be cool when they get their report cards. Don't let people bring you down because you are intelligent. I have seen kids calling other kids names because of their intelligence. I say ignore them because I know if you see them in the future, they won't be having a very good time. Remember, they are just jealous.

Join sports if you want, and remember to work hard in them too. Sports are fun once you get used to them.

Remember to work hard and take interest in the subjects you enjoy. Sometimes school is actually fun. Thank you very much for reading. Remember to work hard and sorry if I sound stupid.

Welcome to my post. I hope you enjoy reading it.

The path of life is full of twists and turns, and it is up to you to chose which way you want to go. During the path many lessons are learned, friendships are made and broken, and are lost and reunited. We lose people and we find happiness, but during all of this, we learn to move on.

Each year, as we grow older, we start to enjoy life and find out how important it really is. We chose our jobs, what is right for our families and people we care about, but most of all, we should learn to live life happily and have fun, because life only lasts for a while.

And each day when we come home, we should look at ourselves and be proud of who we are. If we choose the wrong choice, we should stop and apologize instead of regretting it later on in life. Once we find the end of our path, we either regret our choices, or are happy with what we have done to contribute in the world. Remember to chose the path that you feel is right and you will become a great person in life.

I will end my post with a quote I made up.
"Life is full of unexpected things. But these things shouldn't bring us down because life is meant for us to face challenges and find who we really are."

Hi!! Omg before I begin, I would like to say Thank you thank you thank you thank you for 600 rep. Without you I couldn't do it!
Anyways here is my story.


I woke up to the sound of crashing. First of all hello, my name is Maple and I was traveling to
California with my family. I fell asleep and now I woke up to the sound of a crash. BANG. I heard it again. "Mom!! What is happening." My little sister screamed. "It is nothing. Don't be scared guys it seems that we have been caught in something. Stay calm." My mom said to her.

The next thing you knew two soldiers came up to us and said, "Why are you here?" My dad said, "We are driving over to California."
What we didn't know was that we had just been caught in the middle of a war. 3 soldiers came running to the ones asking us and said something to them."Get out of here. You are in the middle of a wa-." But he couldn't finish. He got shot in the back and was bleeding. My dad ran out of the car and up to the soldier. He was a doctor and he knew the one talking to us was the one fighting for our country. My dad quickly helped the soldier and gave him water.

As for my mom she was so terrified and was screaming for us to get out of here. My dad had already helped 5 soldiers. But then the most terrible thing happened. They took my dad and my mom away. My sister was crying and my dad was yelling saying for us to run away. I didn't know what to do. I grabbed my sister and baby brother and ran away as fast as I could. I was crying too.

I finally ran far and hid w/ my sister and brother in a cave. I cried. They both were also crying. What else could we do? Suddenly, a man appeared and a women... they looked just like my parents....

Wow lol, you draw well now and even when you were in grade 4. That tells me that you are very talented and you worked hard over time to get your drawings better. Don't get me wrong that picture is something I can't even draw and you drew it in grade 4. :o

Hello! I hope you enjoy my discussion on Money.

I believe that this is a very serious topic. So let me begin by saying money isn't everything. It isn't the world and you don't need to have the latest things to be cool. Money is just a normal piece of paper with color (or whatever it is in your country).

You should save up money for your future instead of wasting it on the latest Iphone or something. I can relate. Lets say you have an Iphone 4, 5, and 6. You don't have to get an Iphone 7 because you already have 3 other phones. My point is that If already have something, why do you need to buy the latest version? It doesn't make you look cool, but what does make you cool is your good attitude.

Don't get me wrong or anything, you can spend your money however you want, I am just saying that you should try not to waste it. But, if you want to buy something just because you want to have fun and help other people, I say awesome choice.

Now for the next part of my discussion. Now a days people are getting out of hand for money. They add stuff to food to make it look good so people will buy it, and then the person gets health problems.

Like my supply teacher told us a story that once he was going to buy a goat. He said that he brought the goat home which was presumably a baby goat. The next day it started to grow like quickly. The teacher said he went back and asked why the goat grew so fast and the shop keeper said it was because of the injections he gave it. Then the shop keeper said that he didn't inject it for his own family.

These days, people are doing that to food and animals so people will buy it. People are getting sick and it's all because people want money.

I just want to say something before I end my discussion. Money never can buy friends, nor family. So, I believe that instead of doing bad things for money we should save money for college and stuff so we can get a good job and earn money the right way.

We can use money for games and recreational stuff if we want, but not go overboard.
