Heyo :3. At school we are learning French so I want to share some of my experience. We learned a bit, and it is quite simple. We had a test recently, people were so proud that they got 4 out of 30. O.o
Anyways, you don't need to know about that, so I will continue! :D

Basic French
Hi=Bonjour/Salut
Bye= Au revoir
Boy= garcon
Girl= fille
He= il
She= Elle
Mom= Maman
Dad= Papa
And= et
Good= Bien
Bad= Mauvais
Today= Aujourd'hui
I= Je
Okay, so that is just a little french. But I am going to show some verbs now.

Parler= To speak
Marcher= To walk
Habiter= live
Regarder= Watch or to see
Manger= eat
Écouter= to listen or hear
Nager= to swim
Courir= to run

Now, I will tell about people.
Les Clown= The clown
Le directeur= the director
Le docteur= the Doctor
Vétérinaire= vet
Le professeur= The teacher

Here are months.
January= janvier
February= fevrier
March= mars
April= avril
May= mai
June= juin
July= juillet
August= aout
September= Septembre
October= octobre
November= novembre
December= decembre
And, yes the months are supposed to be lower case.

Numbers


Okay so I am going to explain some important rules in french. So these are some pronouns in French.
Je = I Nous = we
Tu = you Vous = you all (a group of people)
il = he ils = The boys (they)
Elle = she Elles = The girls (they)

If there is one girl and 5 boys, it would still be ils.
Anyways, Each of these pronouns have different endings. When you are saying a sentence like "Je mange la pizza". It wouldn't be Manger anymore because je has an e ending. Here are the endings.
Je = e Nous= ons
Tu = es Vous= ez
il = e ils= ent
Elle = e Elles = ent

So if the verb was ecouter. And you wanted to say, I listen to the teacher, you would say "Je ecoute la professeur". When using je, you have to put an e at the end of the verb. That is why I applied the e at the end of ecoute.

I will be doing one last rule. It is Masculine and Feminine. Masculine Plural is used for boys, and Feminine Plural is used for girls.

So if you were to use the verb "Courageux" meaning courageous, the Masculine Plural version would have the ending of eux like the one I showed above, and the feminine plural ending would be Courageuses.

Finally, I am going to add sentences.
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Daisy. Meaning, Hello! My name is Daisy.
Je suis frais means I am cool.
Elle est mange. This means She is eating.
Aujourd'hui est ensoleille means "Today is sunny".
La date d'aujourd'hui est de 11 Mars 2015. I believe this is how you say, Today's date is March 11 2015.

Hi. I want to post this discussion on badges. Some of the badges are kind of hard to understand, so I will post this.

So, this is the Emperor badge. You CANNOT earn it because there is an Emperor currently. If you become the Emperor (I am sure you can't because Damen is already the Emperor), you will get this badge. :)

This is the Emperor Helper badge. Currently, you can't earn it because it is taken by Cyberwolf. But, I believe you can still earn it, If The Emperor Helper quits, resigns, etc. You earn this badge if you are Emperor Helper.

This badge is for a fellow worker of the DSGHQ. It is basically like the junior commiser. You cannot get this badge because currently, it is taken by someone. I am not quite sure if you can get this badge if the person quits though.

Now, this badge anyone can get, if the make 100 posts or disscusions. If you have made 100 posts you will be issued with this badge.

This badge is also issuable. If you make 500 posts or disscusions, you will earn this badge. :)

If you make 1000 posts, you will be issued with this badge.

If you make 2000 posts, you will earn this badge.

If you make 3000 posts, you will earn this badge.

If you make 4000 posts, you will be issued with this badge.

If you make 5000 posts, you will earn this badge.

Making 6000 posts will get you this badge.

You will earn this badge if you become a Moderator on forums.

If you become an Administrator, you will still keep your mod badge, and you will get this badge.

If you have been to England you will get this badge.

If you have been to London, you will earn this badge!

If you earn 1000 views on your forums profile, you will get the Popular badge.

You cannot earn this badge under any circumstances, because it is given to Adawg, for being the Wci in Summer 2014.

You can't earn this badge either. This badge is given to Bailey the winner of Autum Wci 2014.

Again, you cannot earn this badge because it is given to Sir Bp28 for defeating Ice king Raegon.

You can get this badge. Damen, The Emperor, gives it to you if you deserve it.

If you become an Imperial Knight, you will get this badge on forums.

You must make a post about Game of Thrones to get this badge.

If you have a trusted amount of Reputation. I believe maybe 70-80, but I am not sure.

I believe you get this badge around 200. You get this badge for very high rep.

You will earn this badge, if you have 600 and above reputation points.

If you are registered before the id of 1000, you will get this badge. Although, now you cannot.

If you earn Master you get this badge. Even if you have beeen demoted to Member, you still keep this badge.

Become a News Reporter and you will earn this badge.

Find the Hidden Button!

Make a discussion on "Mordor". To get this badge.

Pretty straight forward. Earn Wise one.

Make a post about Will champion to get this badge!

If you make a post about Herobrine, you will earn this badge.

I believe if you wrote a book on Snaildom and it is at the Library, you get this badge.

If you were a detective, you get this badge. Although, now that Crimezone is over, you cannot earn this badge because there are no Detectives.

You cannot get this badge. Angi won Damenball 2014, and as a result she earned this badge.

You can't win any of these, because Chex has gotten these for winning all Moderator Comp stages and winning Mod.

If you can do radio, you will get this badge.

If you are an Operator for DSGHQ Minecraft server, you get this badge.

If you get Emperor's Apprentice, you earn this badge. Hashir has it right now, but if you win the next Emperor's Apprentice comp you get this.

Hi! I am not sure if this is in the right category, but I want to talk about another thing. My teacher is always talking about this, and I totally agree. It is giving evidence.


This is pretty straight forward. Anyways, giving evidence is VERY important. Lets start small. Well, technically not really small, but it will seem small if I tell the bigger things first. Soo, lemme get on with the smaller things.

Lets say someone cusses on a chat. You report that to a Moderator. But then the person who cussed says, "I didn't do that", now you have no evidence. If someone cusses, take a picture with lightshot. That way, you can show the Moderator proof.



If you don't have evidence, you can end up being seen as the person lying. Even if you AREN'T. That is why you need proof or evidence. Always have screenshot with you.
Something like this could also happen.
Someone is cussing at YOU. You report it to a Moderator. The Moderator knows that you are telling the truth so they ban the person. But, this isn't the end. The person who got banned makes another account on forums (for ex.). Then they make a whole post LYING. And make up a whole new story. Now what do you do? The Moderator doesn't know what's going on. You need proof now. See what I mean?

Let's get to bigger problems. God forbid this happens, and someone goes to court. For whatever reason, and they don't know what to do. In a real life situation, you cannot use screenshot, obviously, but you can take pictures. Once again you need proof/evidence!

Another smaller one. You are having a test. The question says this, "What type of government do you think Canada has? Why?". (This is just an example btw XD). If you say, Canada is a Parliamentary government and put a period, you will probably get really low marks. But if you explain why, you will get a better mark. Why? Because you gave evidence!

If you know, this is Judge Judy rule :P. Anyways, thanks for reading. I hope you understand why it is important to give evidence now!
