hey guys. today i wanted to take attention to something that's just kinda been bothering me over the time i've been here. so, here's the thing. a lot of times, a new user will make an irrelevant/short/confusing/kinda random post, and other, more experienced users will dislike it. it doesn't happen 24/7 but it happens. and that's not okay. cut them some slack. they're new. they may not have read the rules, and that's not their fault. we were all new users at some point, and i know that we all didnt make perfect posts back then. we had bad grammar, didnt really get how it worked, and what the social rules were. when you see a new user (or what you think is a new user) post, don't criticize them or dislike them for having a "weird/badly formed/random/etc" post. instead, offer them help. link them to the rules and different areas. offer assistance. be helpful! so, next time, remember that you were like them at one point. and i know this has bad capitalization, but let that go. i dont want to worry about writing properly capitalized posts. peace

This is a DSGHQ Forum Guide and if I miss anything, you are free to comment.

First off. If you're wondering how to send mail or view your profile, first off, go to home page, all the way to the right, there is your username. Click that



Next to that is notifications. If you want to view what notifications you have, click the bulb. Next to that is mail. To send mail you must follow this:



Click the mail.



Now, to send a new message, click "New Message" and to mark all read, click "Mark All Read"

To do anything basic, at the top of the page, there should always be this:



The Empire includes all the information about empire ranks. (princess, prince, etc)



The wiki includes articles made by the Empire or Staff, sometimes users.



But a wiki editor has to make it for you.

The bank will hold your gold, and you're allowed to take out or put in anytime you wish (: This is how it looks, but you have to make a bank account first.



In the store, you may buy gold with your ACTUAL money or you can buy profile addons, such as profile music, decorative background, etc.



You may buy gifts as well, and give them to users with the gold you earn from Dingo Dane Questions!



Staff names all the forum staff from Moderators to Admins to Princes to Princesses to Owners.



You may also join a house but you can ONLY join ONE house PER a day.



If you click help, you are allowed to get help from a chatbox or make a ticket. Tickets are used to ask staff REASONABLE questions, not like "how was your day?" or "whats your favorite color?" to ask stuff like "how do you post a mood" or something. Or you can report a user with proof.



If you click search, you may search for discussions, users, or albums.



Edit your profile by clicking your name, which we went over in the start, then click Edit Profile.






To check other mood feeds or you may make your own mood:



But, members are not allowed to comment on moods or make picture links on posts or their about me, or stuff. To earn member get 40 rep or more and a staff will automatically change your rank.

Today I am applying for a rank I have seen fall behind or not applied for often, so I thought maybe this could be an opportunity to gain a rank that needs more attention. As you can tell (by the title), I am applying for Drejk Moderator.

Username: Wolf

Nickname: Sans

Desired rank: Drejk Moderator.

Current rank on Drejk: Member.

Do you have experience?

I do have experience with Moderating Drejk chats and certain Xat chats (not affiliated with DSGHQ Xat chats). I have also Moderated other things before, such as CPPS and Forums, so I do have quite some experience using powers.

Why are you applying for this rank?

I am apply for this rank because it is a rank that doesn't get much attention. Such as how OldCP Moderators and Forums Moderators cannot Moderator Drejk very often because they are busy Moderating Forums or OldCP. Even when Moderators are on Drejk, rules are still broken and Members have to keep telling people to stop. It seems like some of the Moderators aren't doing there job and I want to fix that. I also do not see many Moderators on Drejk very often and I am on Drejk a lot, so

Why do you deserve this rank?

I believe I deserve this rank because I am very active and helpful. I check Drejk very often and watch for inappropriate content and such. I would not abuse my powers and I would not wait to punish a user. I would punish any user that deserves it even if they are my friend. No matter who the user is, if they are inappropriate, I would not hesitate to use my powers.
