Hey there! Since the start of player of the day [when it started being most posts per day wins], I believed that it shouldn't only be posts that counted for to obtain this. I believe it should count on multiple things.

Basically, I think the player of the day should count posts, reputation, and xp. This would be like an all-around way to settle this. For when some people make posts, other people can make up with reputation and xp. Here's how it would work:


Posts count for 1 point
Reputation counts for 0.5 point
XP counts for 0.1 points [because you can get xp from posts, albums, channels, and moods]


I got the idea because I felt that player of the day was judged by the ones that made the most posts. Usually, I've seen that the person that got player of the day for that day made around 30-40 posts in a 24 hour period, sometimes in my eyes spamming the Forums. If it were more balanced saying player of the day was an all around type of thing, I think it would be more fair for users like me who don't make that many posts, plus it still gives players who make a lot of posts per day the same advantage in getting player of the day.

Another reason I made this is because just today, there was a new system made where the user with the highest score will win the WCI. In the post, Tennis explains that player of the day is worth 600 points, and I believe it gives players that post a ton of times per day an unfair advantage, because this basically says whoever posts the most has a higher chance of winning. Yes, it is good that many more people are contributing to the Forums, but the WCI represents
all around skill. If it were possible to use my suggestion, I feel many more people would be able to get the chance to obtain player of the day. This is only a suggestion, so feel free to tell me your honest opinion about my idea. It is a flawed concept, but I still think it could be useful. Bye now!

But I will be really in-active, not that I've lost interest, just I'm spending half of my day on Oldcp and barely any time on my School schedule.

Another reason is that the GOM just confuses me too much, yes there is a mini moderator competition, but you don't win a rank, I feel really bad to the english and me for the time we spend for moderator competitions, (I spent 3 hours last night) Do know now that I am not complaining.

This all comes to conclusion, I recommend earning moderator ^o^ ya could be skilful but not even ready (;
