If someone swears, don't just /ipban them immediately, otherwise I WILL demote you. I can see the logs.
Ban them first, if they come back and do it again, ban them once more. If they come back a 2nd time, you can ipban them.

I'm not a mod but does that mean 3 bans for swearing is an ipban? Just wanted to know.
