If you want to find a certain person and you have to search the persons name and click on there profile it might be annoying so i reccommend there being a online panelso you don't have to search for the user and anyway even if you do click on someone's profile it wouldn't show if they're online or not.

Basically i think there should be a place where it shows who is online.

What about at peak times? There would be too many players online and on the panel, then it would take forever to find the user you're looking for. Using the '/online' command is a lot easier.
