We are back with a new issue of the news! A lot of things have happened this week. I am now the ONLY news reporter in the forums (you will see why soon). Now let's start, shall we?


Harryhawk's promotion: Harryhawk, 1 of the 2 news reporters, has been demoted from news reporter due to the fact that he hasn't made news reports in months. On his last news report he made back in December, he even said that it would be his last news report.

That's not all. Harryhawk wasn't just demoted. He was also promoted. Do you know what rank he was promoted to? He was promoted to a Master! The staff have talked about Harryhawk, and they decided to promote Harryhawk to a Master! Congratulations Harryhawk! I wish you the best of luck on this new adventure of being a Master!

May23's demotion and promotion: I currently have no info on this. Unless May23 gives information for this, there won't be much to write for this subject. As far as my research shows, May23 was demoted from Moderator. I currently don't know why. But, when Adawg was demoted from Moderator to Master (PW Captain), May23 received her rank as Moderator back! Congratulations May23!


swfCrate - SWF Uploader by DSGHQ: Emperor Damen has recently made a SWF uploader like swfcabin (but much better with working search). You can make your own rooms with this new program. The rooms must be in SWF form. I think this is a great way to show users' creative sides and make great rooms.

This is how it goes:
Step 1 Upload a swf to http://swfcrate.com
Step 2 Login to http://swfcrate.com/jr/ in-build jr manager with your OldCP account.
Step 3 Press the 'New Channel' button in the top right corner.
Step 4 Search for or just paste your swfcrate link to the swf file you uploaded.
Step 5 Give the JR room a name, this is what you will use when you say /jr (roomname) in-game.
Step 6 Wait for it to be reviewed. This can take up to 2 days. Only administrators can review SWF files.

Warning:
JR Room Rules
- Your JR name must be in some way relevant to the swf you are using.
- Do NOT upload any swfs containing code.
- Do not try to send duplicates of other channels.
-You have a limit of 10 channels for your account.

New PW's?: Recently, Adawg has made a discussion, saying that Damen allowed him to hire new PW'S!! PW stands for Penguin Watch. As a Penguin Watch, you have sub-moderator powers. You stay undercover and kick or ban rule breakers. Your rank in forums and OldCP doesn't change, since you work undercover. You are not allowed to reveal your rank to anyone other than other PW's and the PW Captain (Adawg and Kara). Only PW Captains' names turn blue and it writes Penguin Watch under their name. Normal PW's don't get their names blue and don't get a rank under their name. As a PW, you protect the island of OldCP, especially if there are no mods online. I recently asked Adawg about this, and he said "The people who will be PW's are picked". So this means that people who applied now may be too late. I wish everyone great luck!

Fries's demotion: It is hard to believe, but it is true. Fries, our fellow Wise, has quit being a Wise. No, she didn't get fired. She quit. It is currently unknown why, so I don't have much info on this.

2 times in a row: That Girl has recently posted something that caught my attention. She was Play Of The Day 2 times in a row. But we cannot forget the time Bailey was Player Of The Day 6 times in a row.

Adawg's demotion and promotion: Adawg was demoted from Moderator this week due to being immature and being hard to handle.

But this demotion led to something even better! He is now The Head PW Captain. Congratulations Adawg! Adawg and Kara are currently the 2 PW Captains! Adawg is the Head Captain. Kara is the 2nd captain. Since they are captains, they are the only PW's that have ranks under their names. But normals PW's don't have ranks under their names. Even though they are captains, their ranks did not change in the forums.

I am deeply sorry about that. I will fix that right away. Mozilla Firefox (my web browser) crashed like 3 times. At the 1st and 2nd crash, nothing was deleted, all the writing came back. But at the 3rd crash, all of the writing was deleted. I literally flipped out. It was the last sentence! Anyway, I am sorry for forgetting to write that, and please forgive me. I am fixing it right now.
