Some people may think, my application is marked as read but I'm not a moderator (or whatever you applied for) yet...
So you may think it's a good idea to send the owner of the whole DamenSpike GAMES HQ a mail or a skype telling him to read your application.
Well, since it has been about a year since I opened applications up, some of you have forgotten how it works.
Admins don't really read applications, that is the job of the mods. When a mod sees a good application and thinks it should be read by an admin, the mod will then post about it in the hidden Staff Section.
So very rarely do admins read through applications, they only read recommended applications highlighted by moderators.
So it may reduce your chances if you send the owner (me) your application, it's too far for some of you at this point.

If an application gets sent to me I rarely read it (unless I asked the person to send me their application), in fact seeing someone advertise their application a lot and spamming my mail with it makes like the application less. If an application is marked read that means at least one staff member read it. There is no need point in pressuring every mod to read it.
