Hello everybody!

Today I'm going to tell you the story of how I rescued my dog.(I adopted her.)

So one day I said to my mom,"I want a dog,Can I save up for one then get one?"My mom said,"Yes,but it is a big responsibility." I said,"I know,but I really want one!"My mom said,"But we are NOT ever going to get one from the petstore or a breeder."

A couple of months later I had hundreds of dollars in my bank account.I've reached the amount I needed for a puppy.So I said to my mom,"I have enough money for a dog,can we get one?"She said,"I'm not sure yet,I have to agree with your dad."I said,"Fine."

A month later she said,"Me and your father have decided if we should get you a dog or not."I said.'Did you say yes?" She said,"Well,there are two puppies coming over tomorrow."I knew it was a yes.

The next day my mom said,"The lady is coming at 2:00pm Today."I was so exited! At 2:00pm the lady came with two adorable puppies! They were 10 months old.The lady said,"She rescued them from Taiwan,they were lucky we saved them because in Taiwan Black dogs with white spots are bad luck."It's very weird how they are bad luck.She said,"If they were in Taiwan any longer they wouldn't be alive,even though they were stray with their mom."

An hour later we have chosen the puppy,there was a boy and a girl to choose from,their 4 other siblings were adopted.I have chosen the girl,her name is Daisy.Her brothers name Is Ollie.


So that is how I got Daisy! She is now 11 months old.Her birthday is March 2nd.She is a Lab/collie/Doberman/husky and some pitbull.

Remember Adopt dont shop.Don't buy at pet stores OR breeders.Petstore puppies come from puppy mills,they are very cruel to dogs:(Breeders are mean to the mom dog,they make her have babies all the time. Adopt! Make a change,like I did.

Yes.I suggest if you want a pet go to the shelter.They need homes more than the breeder puppies and petstore puppies.Beccause if you buy a puppy (they are extremely cute) but if you keep buying the abuse will keep going. Adopt dont shop!

I remember when I had a dog! He was a Golden Retriever and his name was Rocky. He looked like this.

All there was was a backyard. I was the one chasing him and finding away to get him back the first three times, but the next time I was like "ehh. I will just leave him be." He always found a way to get out like six more times and I found out that he comes back on his own, so I chased him for three times for nothing because he would've just came back on his own. I didn't care though

I love this story! You should not adopt form pet stores, as you all said. I adopted a cat form a adoption center that was inside a pet store, but it was a small adoption place. (they are seperate, just in the same building) I love animals ! I agree with all of your posts, they are all what I think.

but if no one buys a puppy from the petstore they will have to put it down

most of the backstories of puppies at pet stores are heartbreaking
