Living And Existing

Existing simply means occupying space and time,Living, on the other hand, is a far more elaborate process. It involves a beginning, a middle, and an end, all equally inevitable. During this middle, we life forms are required to perform elaborate functions. Animals simply must do as it takes to maintain life: eating and reproduction. Humans, though, have a cerebral cortex that enables intelligent thinking. How to use it to the fullest is revealed in Allah (swt) the Infinite's revelations, and there is one that has survived intact over the millennia: the Holy Qur'an. Overall, existing objects are just there, living animals have simple maintenance tasks, and we humans have much more complex civilization and social tasks to meet, as stated in the Holy Qur'an
