Hey guys,
I was looking back at previous stuff I did in the year and I came across this. I wasn't very good at poetry so it might not be that good but I remembered that even if it wasn't the best, I really enjoyed writing it.
On that bright April Day,
the runners were ending the race that was super long
The crowd was cheering them all on
Until things went all wrong
Things were all calm
until bombs suddenly went off
Only few yards apart
So loud you definitely can’t even hear a cough
Total terror broke out loud
People were screaming and shouting
All terrified on what will happen next
even babies were extremely pouting.
America will never forget this
but a little boy died at that race.
America would grieve for him
for we will never again see his little happy face.
I remembered this well because one of my relatives was at the race (I wasn't there). He wasn't killed and was barely injured (he was quite a ways away from the bombs) so when I saw this event on the news, I was frantic, worried if my uncle was ok. He turned out to be fine but I still remember the day very well. Please don't put bad comments because I'm not that good at poetry so just leave your bad comments to yourself and waddle on!

I actually think your poem is very good! Also I'm glad your relative survived.
