The Real Meaning of Friends




If you search up the definition of "Friend" here is what it will give you.
(This may be different from what you look up)

Definition of Friend: " A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard."

This definition is correct, but I would like to share my opinion.



What I Think The Real Meaning of "Friends" is



The definition I have mentioned earlier, is absolutely correct, but I will share with you what I think the real meaning is.Many people think that friends are people who you only "play/hang out" with, but friends are not only for playing with, they have many other options as well. Keep in mind, that friends are not objects, they are human beings, like you (Unless you are a robot). I think friends are people who you depend on, care about as if he/she is your sibling, have fun times/memories with, etc.



Depending on Your Friend



If you are really friends with someone, you would depend on them. You must trust each other, and never think either one of you are lying.Lying to a friend, is like telling your friend that he/she should not trust you anymore. Losing a friend's trust, is just terrible. Gaining trust, is like you getting a honorable award. If you depend on your friend, and if your friend depends on you, they trust you with their life. You are a role model to your freind. Remember there are people trying to follow your footsteps.




Caring About Your Friend



Caring about your friend, is a very important part of being a good friend. If your friend or you do not care for each other, this means that you are not real friends. If you really care about your friend, you will not fight with each other. Of course, fighting always occurs in a friendship, but maybe one or two times. More than that, claims that you are not real friends. You may think you are, but it is told that you are not. If your friend is hurting you physically or with words, they are not real friends. If they talk about you behind your back, they are not a real friend. Keep in mind, that these are true.Caring for each other also means, loving each other like they are siblings. Siblings may get into fights, but the truth is that they love each other no matter what. Same goes to friends. Remember to care about your friends. It is very important.




Having Good Times/Memories With your Friends



I need to tell you one thing before you start reading this paragraph. If you do not go places with your friend, that does not mean you are real friends. Just remember that, as well.

Friends, usually have had those days where you laugh all day, remembering the fun times and memories in the past or present. Friends may start as 5 year olds all the way to 60 year old.Maybe even older! First you play, then say it in a more "modern way" hang out, then when you get older you can just sit and talk. Memories are one of the fun parts of a relationship. You can just sit back remember them.When you are down or bored, just remember what good friends you had/have and remember what you played/play or what you said.I have many fun memories that I can talk about all day, but that is not needed right now. Just remember, that you don't always have to be serious with friends, you may also joke around and have fun.

Friends are not only for the things that I have stated, but there are a lot more fun things to do.The friends I have, that I trust , I love, and I play with, are all dependable and excellent. They are who they are, and I like them that way. This is what I think the real meaning of "Friends" is. I said this from my heart and mind. Remember to give me a +1 or -1 .
