swearing does //not// make you a scumbag or stupid lmao people just swear to make what theyre saying more bold & stuff theres no real problem with that at all. i mean if people aren't swearing offensively, it shouldn't be much of a problem, but something tells me that would be taken advantage of. Not to mention there are /younger/ people here and i know that no one wants to influence them to say anything they don't mean.
if people were as mature as they claimed to be, i'd say yes, but because of that, no, it'd probably turn into something problematic ;//

Hello everyone. Amanda here with a DEBATE!Now, here's the debate.
Should OldCP be allowed to swear?
Well, in my opinion, I think it SHOULDN'T. I see people swear all the time. Here are the swear words allowed: Damn, ass, and hell. I know we don't use them offensively, but we shouldn't use them at ALL. There are kids here as young as 8 years old! And if we swear in front of their faces, that's a bad influence. OldCP shouldn't allow swear words because the little kids' parents out there would be upset if they found their child swearing. I would be upset, too. Think of the kids! Now, you older kids are probably going to dislike this because you swear all the time. Well, just because you're older doesn't mean you should set a bad influence on people.
In my opinion, OldCP swearing should NOT be allowed.
What's your opinion?
~Amanda
I think their should be no swearing. 1. Swearing is negative and stupid. 2. Children Play this game. 3. For the people that swear, I would like them to know to shut up. 4. The Internet is not a free cuss world. 5. If you want to cuss, don't do it on here.

I mean, I can kinda see where your coming from, but saying that "anybody that swears should shut up" is kind of derogatory.

I have been using CPPS'es before I found oldcp.
Lets just say, you don't wanna know what kind of stuff goes on there.

CPPS'es are totally strange and even allow cussing.Cursing should not be allowed on Oldcp or fights and other bad events will constantly happen.

I think it should under certain circumstances. For example, in a popular place that has many users, It shouldn't be allowed. But if it is in a room with a few people, or people that are teens (13+) then I think it should be fine
also, at my school, 5TH GRADERS say bad words like the f word and stuff, so it isn't really that bad, when they are saying those words anyway
Hey people! Its me trollfaced21! I love you guys so much and am thankful for all of you! HATERS BACK OFF! BYE BRUHS

Swearing shouldnt be allowed in public. I think users should be allowed to swear when they are with their friends NOT IN PUBLIC. In this case, whos there to say stop? And its not affecting anyone. But no, swearing should not be allowed.

I am very late on this post but I don't think swearing should be aloud. On CPPS sites where it IS aloud, users take advantage of it and swear in every sentence they say. If we aloud it in the DSGHQ, I feel as some people (not all) would do the same. Our community is filled with many young users and I feel as if the rules are good how they are, and there is no need to change them.
